End of LineI thought that Gomez was on IR? No?
-
TedShecklerYou're right. Fixed.
-
darbypitcher22Jackets need to rebound from last night and get at least a point.
-
capninsano2-1 with 6:30 remaining in the first. Garon gave up a weak weak goal to Cammalleri. Columbus bounced back with a Vermette goal after a beautiful no look feed from Nash. Stralman made it 2-1 on the power play.
-
capninsanoTripping on Montreal. Second power play of the night for the Jackets coming up.
-
capninsanoHuselius called for holding the stick...4-4
-
capninsano2-1 Columbus after one.
-
BlueDevil113-2 Jackets after two
-
BlueDevil11Montreal goal
tied at 3
Garon knocked it in after a previous shot hit the crossbar. He went to grab it and sent it into the net. -
BlueDevil11Another Montreal goal
4-3 Montreal -
capninsanoNice poke check by Garon right before that last goal, but he never recovered
-
BlueDevil11Goal Montreal
5-3 -
BlueDevil11I think there should have been a couple penalties called before the goal.
Nash was getting murdered while trying to get a shot off. Also, there was a cross-check that was not called resulting in the turnover that ended in a goal. -
chicago510What the hell is wrong with the Jackets defense?!
12 goals in the last 2 games? -
davelast in the league in goals allowed
-
HeathAlum21The Jackets aren't doing the little things that are necessary. How many times did you see them turn the puck over in their own zone tonight? How many opportunities did they have to clear the puck, only to have it remain in the zone?
-
BlueDevil11The Jackets passing was very sloppy tonight, especially in the third period when they gave up three goals.
-
darbypitcher22thank god we're playing this shitty in November instead of March...
-
NNNLook on the bright side. Dead last in goals against, still four games over .500 and it's not even Thanksgiving.
Heck, last year they were two games under .500 at CHRISTMAS. -
End of LineThis is deff. not Hitchcock defense haha.
-
capninsanoThe defense is pinching down a lot more in the offensive zone and that's why they're giving up all these odd man rushes, something that is radically different from last season. I really don't think we need the D's help that much on the offensive end. Nash, Vermette, Voracek, and even Huselius to an extent have been able to create offense all season. There's no doubt the Jackets are a lot more potent on offense this year but the risk/reward with how we're playing our defensemen isn't worth it to me. But maybe this is what the coaching staff decided needs to be done after the playoff run last year.
-
gerb131Pothetic! They look tired 25 games into the season. Is he working them too hard? Garon or Mason couldn't stop the flying V right now. I guess Mase of 08 covered up alot of flaws on the defensive side of the puck.
They need to pull one out in Ottawa to feel better about themselves. -
End of LineOttawa is no slouch. Mike Fisher is tearing it up, and making a big push to be on Team Canada.
