swamisezBest thing, they miss the freak in San Fran. Cain will be tough, but he is more hittable than Linsecum

Last 30 days according to the stats on yahoo fantasy coming into today(I would think they are accurate)
Lincecum 1-4 with a 5.77 ERA and 34K in 35.1 innings.
Zito 0-2 with a 3.98 ERA and 23 K's in 31.2 innings.(Today 5 ER's on 3.2 IP with 3 K's)
Cain 1-2 with a 3.13 ERA and 30 K's in 31.2 innings.
Sanchez 2-2 with a 3.63 ERA and 42 K's in 34.2 innings.
Bumgarner 2-2 with a 3.93 ERA and 25 K's in 36.2 innings.
Closer-Brian Wilson 1-0 with 8 saves and a Blown save. Also 2.31 ERA with 16 K's in 11.2 innings
We are facing Cain, Sanchez and Bumgarner -
daveSanchez and Cain are by far the hardest to hit off of in that rotation, St. Louis got lucky missing them.

swamisezHave we forgotten that Lincecum is the back to back NL cy young winner and is NL strikeout champ?

Who is slumping horribly right now with reports stating that his velocity is down to more of a low-90s fastball instead of a mid/high 90s, like he was while winning those accolades. Previous awards aren't going to win him games this year, if he's struggling. -

Yeah not sure if you have been keeping tabs lately but Lincecum hasn't been the same guy for some time. The Bay Area is actually concerned about him. With that being said, I'm not heartbroken about missing Lincecum. You have to figure he'll regain his form sooner than later.
