Reds v. Diamondbacks - Game 3

davei was thinking that, mhs probably not happy with that stubbs K
-
wildcats20lol That was for sure a strike and he's lucky he didn't get rung up on the hook right before it.
Nice AB from Joey...never said that before..lol -
davegod i hate keels. gtfo and bring grande back.

Oh gosh. I prefer Keels anyday over George Grande. Grande's peppiness and refusal to criticize anybody was annoyinggod i hate keels. gtfo and bring grande back. -

Why, because you think I think that the ump missed it on the called strike 3 on pitch 9? No that was a good call, but he missed pitches 3 and 8, one each way. Pitch 3 made it 1-2 rather than 2-1. -
mhs95_06Wood gets it together after the first 6 balls. He got a fortunate deflection off the mound toward BP which allowed the last batter to be a DP victim rather than a single up the middle to put two on with one out.
-
daveYeah I can't stand that either, but with a winning team I don't think it would be as bad. Keels has messed up the count twice already, screwed up the pop out, last night he was sure Janish hit that ball out. He also brought up Norris Hopper after that Votto foul in the first.
Hopefully Thom will be back after this trip even though he's not great. -

I'm talking about the overall inconsistency. -
jordo212000I guess I'm biased. As a Buckeye fan I cannot say anything bad about the voice of the Buckeyes
-
mhs95_06Why do defenses play the SS so much up the middle on Ramon. Seems like he hits it in the 5.5 hole way more than he goes up the middle. Usually he goes in the 3.5 and 5.5 holes.

I have no problem with Paul doing games either. His knowledge of Reds history/trivia is insane -

i love hearing his knowledge of baseball. He does get a little annoying at times. But overall i enjoy it. PLUS, it gets me amped for buckeye football!! -
mhs95_06Wood with a very good play to knock off the runner at 2nd on the sac attempt.
-
osu45804Ramon with a HUGE 3 Run Blast!!!
3-0 Reds top 4th -
davewow 2 rockets in a row.
-
osu45804Back 2 Back HomeRuns!!! Bruuuuuuuuuce
4-0 Reds -
mhs95_06Let's see how Wood handles prosperity! He only has 34 pitches thru 3 innings so far, and you'd think that pitches per inning would go down with a good lead.

I'd say he handled it pretty well lol
Hot damn that white boy can run!!! -
mhs95_06Well what do you know, Stubbs gets down a good bunt!
-
mhs95_06Rolen fails in a very good situation for him. He got a break from the umpire to be ahead 3-1 rather than 2-2, and he swings at a bad breaking ball and hits it in a bad spot!
-
mhs95_06Drew smartened up and played Hernandez in the hole and got the 3rd out by doing it, after the Reds had 2nd and 3rd and one out!
-
mhs95_06Wood thru 5 innings on just 54 pitches. Feast or famine Reynolds jacked on out on the first pitch from Wood that he didn't get up as far as he intended.
-
justincredibleTravis Wood is good.
-
mhs95_06If the Reds don't get any runs this inning, starting out with two on and no out, they are heading into a slump!
-
justincredibleBruce seems to be putting it together at the plate. That could be huge down the stretch.
