    Yes or No?

    Yes.

Contender? His name is already on the trophy.

If the Reds win the Central, he will be the NL MVP. Hell I'm starting to feel like even if they only get the Wild Card he will win it.

I think what is helping Votto is Omar Infante and Martin Prado will split votes.

I think he should be....but it is obvious after almost not getting into the all star game that he is being overlooked. I would be surprised if he won it even if they win the division.

2 horse race between Votto and Pooholes. Joey needs to put up some decent numbers in LA, SF, SD, and Colorado to win some of the west coast vote.

According to Colin Cowherd Votto is crap and his peers think he sucks.

Given his comments on Votto this has never been more clear.

Not a Reds fan, but I think he has to be a strong candidate. I dont see how he isnt a serious contender for the MVP.

I think he has to be. He still has better numbers than Pujols at this point in the triple crown categories doesn't he?

    absolutely..............

already is in the top three.

how it all turns out depends upon the Reds fortunes to some extent......
but, the classic MVP is a player who achieves closest to the triple crown.............this year, Votto has a shot.
