Shockingly enough Brett is returning to the Minnesota Vikings. -
Hb31187Hes such a douche. He does this intentionally just to miss training camp, and draw attention to himself. his act is beyond old
-
LJGood, the league is better with Favre
Sent from my T-Mobile myTouch 3G -
voewoodyI think I heard yesterday on Sportscenter that today is the anniversary of when he got to Minnesota last year.
-
wes_mantoothYes...it makes me happy when he turns the ball over in a crucial situation in a playoff game. Thought maybe I wouldn't get to see that this year.
-
osu45804Sweet... I signed up for a NFL Fantasy Draft yesterday and actually forgot all about it and it ended up drafting Favre for me lol
-
thedynasty1998As much as I dislike Favre for all this shuffling, I love watching him play and really think he still has something to offer in this league.

friendfromlowryIs anyone else NOT bothered by this? This act started a few years ago, and it was frustrating to me then, but now who still cares? Love watching the guy play, he'll go down as one of the best QBs of all time, but aside from that, his on again-off again act just doesn't bother me anymore. I don't keep track of his decisions or which way he's leaning or what he says one way or the other. When the Vikings open up the season, if Favre runs out on the field for the opening drive, then I'll believe he's back. If he's not there, then I'll believe he's retired. Until then, who gives a damn. Watching ESPN's continuing coverage will only drive you nuts.
Also, I know a lot of people despise him because he only does this for the attention and to miss camp, and probably that's true -- but a part of me really does believe he's just dumb and doesn't know what he wants. That's the difference between what he's doing and what Lebron did. Hopefully the Vikings are being proactive and ready for his retirement if that's what he does.
Don't hate the player, hate all the moron reporters who are always trying to break the news first that he's either staying or leaving, when really they don't have all the information. I can't stand Ed Werder for some reason, but all the more reason I wish someone would drop his ass for being on ESPN speculating every week, fueling the fire. -

I agree with you completely on this. I love watching Farve play he's awesome. I don't pay attention to the media's bullshit about him coming or not coming back. Farve is still one of the best QBs in the league and the NFL will be better with him around. -
like_thatWhy doesn't Favre just say he doesn't want to go to training camp? I am pretty sure he could get away with that, and everyone would stfu about it.
-
IggyPride00There was an envoy of Viking players that flew to Hattiesburg last night to basically demand Favre come back.
I am fired up, the NFL is a better league when Brett Favre is playing in it. -
UA5straightin2008im not bothered by it at all, in fact as a vikings fan, i am thrilled...we'll go 12-4 again, 11-5 at worst...win the NFC championship and play the colts/jets in the super bowl and win the first one in franchise history!!
-
Strapping Young LadAs a Vikings fan I too am thrilled. We'll go 13-3 then choke in the NFC championship. Sweet!
-
Mohican00Kind of sick of this shit. He's a great player but I don't need my football fix coming in the form of Favre drama. The live helicopter shots today were a bit much
-
skankBen Rotlipsburgers act? Yes, tired of it.
Pac Man Jones' act? Yes, tired of it.
NFL gun toters acts? Again, tired of it.
Mike Vicks act? Tired.
I say, welcome back Brett, the league is a much better place with you in it. -
Hb31187Favres act is just as old
-
HereticMaybe this will be the year where he wins a big game and celebrates by FINALLY fucking Jenn Sterger! Those cock-shots have to lead to a happy ending, don't they?

Pandora's box.
If he comes out openly and says it, and thus the Vikings would have no choice but to accept it, then that creates an opening for it to happen in the future. Even though we know he's only doing this to skip training camp (which I'm perfectly okay with at this point in his career and his success last year), he can't come out and publicly say that because of future ramifications.
And by the way, this summer I have no problem with his wavering decision because it was all dependent on how well he recovered from surgery. This is a 41 year old recovering from surgery not a 25 year old. -

Everything about the Favre coverage is too much, except for Favre himself.
It's kinda like the media jizzing over Tebow. It wasn't Tebow's fault he was over publicized, and I think people who hate him hate him because of the media coverage, which he has no control over.
