Braylon Edwards slams Cleveland

  • Art Modell
Profootballtalk.com is reporting that Edwards says nothing is happening in Cleveland, nothing to do, no social network to speak of. He continues saying anyone that wants to be someone wants nothing to do with that city. His mom even jumped in saying her son playing in Cleveland had the same feeling as drowning. The shots keep coming for the city of losers. hahaha

Sadly, being the best WR the Browns have had over the last 8 years is alot like being the hottest fat chick.

Nah..we don't trash the player on threads started by Capone..we just trash Capone.

Funny though he was never a Superbowl MVP, like a certain receiver also traded to the Jets. But, I'm sure nobody in Shitsburgh ever trash talks about him.

did you actually read the article?

" "No one would understand what he's been through unless you've been drowning," she added.

Really? Drowning? Earning millions of dollars to play a kid's game is drowning?

If Edwards was drowning in Cleveland, it's only because he jumped into quicksand and asked for an anchor. Edwards' primary problem in Cleveland were his hands (or, more specifically, his inability to use them properly) and his mouth (or, more accurately, his inability to shut it).

So we'll check back with Braylon in a year, when he'll likely be a member of yet another new team, and he'll be blaming his failures in New York on those brief moments on Seventh Avenue when you think you've caught a whiff of crap and/or vomit and then just as your brain has acknowledged the existence of the odor it's gone. "

Way to post an article in which the writer basically agrees with all of Cleveland on this douchebag. Hahaha

    Haha poor editing by Capone

Both of Edward's parent's must be idiots. After he was traded there was an article about how his Dad blamed his Cleveland failures and fan treatment on him coming from UM. Actually the whole family is like Capone, they say and in Capone's case post things before they actually think what the hell they are doing.

While it wasn't a main factor by any means, with the huge overlap between Browns and OSU fans there were some who did treat him like shit because of it (particularly the OSU diehards who just happen to like the Browns a little bit too). Widespread? no, but there were a few of those retards out there.

Braylon had a bunch of talent and never lived up to it and is looking for someone/something to blame for that. He sure wasn't complaining after his one good season here. He'll flame out in New York and find something about New York to blame...maybe the lights were too bright, he couldn't see the ball.

Sad attempt at trolling....we need to come up with some sort of test to help these guys out.

Even with the overlap all he had to do was perform on a consistent basis(more than 1 good year, 07'). This was never an issue for Leroy Hoard or Thom Darden.

I don't know about most Cleveland fans, but my buddies and I definitely trashed him while he was at Cleveland for his stone hands. Even during his best year he couldn't catch the simplest passes.

Why would we respect him? All he did was cry like a baby, drop passes, and get staph infection.

He led the league in drops back in 2007, and had done nothing even close to his performance in 2007 before or after. Not exactly crying over losing "our best WR in the last 8 years".

One last thing I have to say about Braylon.

Id love to see his parents say this to someone whos lost a loved one to drowning. Making millions and playing in the NFL must be just like that.

    Idiots

Yeah Massequoi and Cribbs are an upgrade at the WR position. You guys are fine. /end sarcasm
  • Commander of Awesome
Didn't say its an upgrade talent wise, but production/character wise it def is. /pwnage.
  • Hb31187
Character wise would be the only way its better
