Jemele Hill at it again.
-
j_crazyI can't think of anyone i consistently disagree with more.

uh, yeah you dumb beaver.I get what Shanahan is trying to do. This was never really about Haynesworth completing two 300-yard shuttle sprints in 25-yard increments. There has been an ongoing power struggle between Haynesworth and Shanahan ever since the latter became Washington's coach in January. What's telling is that Haynesworth's teammates have mostly taken Shanahan's side.
they took shanny's side because everyone else was able to do the task that isn't even as hard as what other teams require.
someon should skullfuck this broad and leave her a creampie of common sense. -
Little DannyI finally figured it out. Jemele Hill is our good buddy Isadore.
-
Lovejoy1984I'm glad ESPN finally banished Whitlock, hopefully she'll go next.
-
NateWhy does ESPN hire people like this in the first place?
-
enigmaaxDidn't read the whole thing, but is she knocking Shanahan? As in, he - the coach - is engaged in a "power struggle" with a player. A player who should get his fat ass in shape and do the job he gets paid a ridiculous amount of money to do?

yep
and how in doing so, shanny is putting more pressure on himself to win, and taking the pressure off of haynesworth to perform. -
trackandccrunnerShe has got to be the worst ever. I can not stand her at all. I'd actually rather read Whitlock's crap than hers at least he has a good article once in a blue moon.

Hell...they even asked Golic to do the same test on Mike & Mike In The Morning. A guy 16 years removed from the NFL, had no heads up about it, doesn't train or anything now a days, and he was even able to do it. -
trackandccrunner
Well techinically he didn't I mean from the clock they had on the tv he finished the second set in 76 seconds(was supposed to be 73 and thats what Greenie said he did it in). But I agree even for Golic to be that close was pretty cool to see.GoChiefs;441737 wrote:Hell...they even asked Golic to do the same test on Mike & Mike In The Morning. GoChiefsLol..the only reason he didn't was b/c Greenie fucked up.
-
karen lotzGolic said he was pacing himself off of the times Greenie was yelling out. Pretty sad that a 46 year old with no knowledge of doing the test can get out there and do it, yet someone who signed a $100 million contract can't do it.
-
hoops23She's actually pretty interesting to follow on twitter. She's somewhat funny as well..
Hell, knowing ESPN, they make her write these pieces to give her a certain "image".. -
YtowngirlinflaIt always seems like she is a race card baiter. Always bringing up the black/white issue. I hate that.
-
DeyDurkie5she sucks plain and simple

I too wonder why they hire people like Skip Bayless, Colin Cowhered, Eric Kuselias, and Jim Rome. People who make a living off of being negative and sounding stupid. -
Little Danny^^ In defense of the people you listed above, at leat they do not race bait. There is no business in "sports entertainment" for that kind of conversation.

You may have a point. But ESPN goes outside of sports all the time period. Just look at the crimes athletes make that isn't sports related but yet it's reported on ESPN of all places. Heck, they even air the spelling bee. -
Little DannyI don't like when they cover the extracurricular stuff either. In fact, the only time I actually watch ESPN anymore is to watch actual sporting events, not news or any of the other shows. That being said, it is one thing for them to report (hypothetically) a guy got drunk at a nightclub and beat the crap out of a couple guys which may lead to a suspension vs. making everything a racial argument. I get enough of that here with various posters.

The spelling bee is awesome! -
friendfromlowryThey hire guys like Skip Bayless because else this is what the conversation on ESPN2's 1st and 10 would sound like in late April of the past couple of years:
Guy 1: Lebron should win the MVP. The Cavs are great. They're in first place.
Guy 2: Yeah he's really good, he should win.
Guy 3: Kobe's pretty cool, but I think Lebron is just better.
End debate.
