  He'd be a great addition to the bench to spell Pierce for 15 minutes or so a game.. Definitely a upgrade over Marquis Daniels! .... If we can land Barnes and then re-sign Nate Robinson and or bring Eddie House back then I'd like the C's off-season a lot.

  I would love to see Barnes go any of the top teams but Miami. Barnes and Artest in LeBron's head while playing D? Wow...Only thing worse would probably be Delonte on the Lakers.

  Just like what was said on ESPN, the Celtics are quietly making moves. They have had a pretty solid off-season that have been overshadowed by the new Miami squad.

  I think they still need to keep Nate Robinson and pick up Barnes and/or Josh Howard. Might want to pick up another big for insurance on Perkins.

  I think the Celtics had a really solid draft (somehow I think Hangody helps them) and I liked the Jermain O'Neal signing. However, I think the lose of Tony Allen is bigger than the addition of O'Neal.

  He's been a journeyman on low wage contracts his whole career. I don't blame him for taking probably the best payout he'll ever get. At 30 years old with his history, you've got to think at this point $10 million for 2 years beats the hell out of $3.5 over 2 years on the veterans minimum to play for a ring.
