Great Lakes to release "Quitness" Ale
-
KR1245CLEVELAND - The departure of LeBron James last week left a bitter taste in the mouth of Clevelanders, and now a local brewery has released a limited-time product that takes a shot at the city’s former “King.”
Great Lakes Brewing Company has announced the release of its latest brew: “Quitness.” The dry hopped India Pale Ale has a notably bitter taste, symbolic of the forgettable ending of James’ era with the Cavaliers.
"Connecting to our city, our fans and our community has made Great Lakes Brewing Company what it is today,” the brewery’s co-owner Patrick Conway said in a release. “Rest assured Cleveland - GLBC isn't going anywhere and we will continue to win world [beer] championships.”
"Quitness" will be available at the company’s Brewpub from 4:00 p.m. Wednesday until Saturday, July 17, 2010 (while supplies last). This ale will be drawn from a firkin and only available in the GLBC Brewpub located across from the West Side Market on Market Avenue in Cleveland. -

killdeerBeerTasterMagazine rates it a poor '4'
starts off strong,
and has a big frothy head;
but does not complement other foods...
and has a very weak finish -
GOONx19^ I see what you did there.

hoops23Made with 1/2 EGO and 1/2 Potential, it ultimately starts off great but in the end fails to deliver on false promises and never quite lives up to the 'hype'...
Just another one that's floating out there -
