Reds @ Phillies.....Game 4
-
justincredibleHistory is also on the Reds side. Since, I think, 1940 the Cardinals have only won the division one time when they weren't leading at the AS break.
-
wes_mantoothGood to hear of the soft schedule....it would be great to see an Ohio team in the playoffs this year.

Yah but they also still have the west coast swing.....@ Arizona, @ LA Dodgers, @ Giants......All you Reds fans know that is where the boys fall apart.... -
Tiger2003Also in September the Reds play 16 of there 24 games on the road....
-
swamisezRead on ESPN that the reds are still looking for bullpen help, looks to me like we could use another bat to platoon with Gomes in left.

Definitely not looking forward to that trip. -

osu45804Fucking pathetic
-
justincredibleStill in first place. I think the 4 days rest will do the team wonders.
-
Tiger2003Hell Yah.......... Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just what the boys needed before the All-Star break.......Go Phillies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

When? LOL. I hope you mean win. And why exactly is Phillies a problem with the spell-checker? -

Why you gotta be a dick? Damn. -
justincredibleIf Cincinnati had a large metro population like Philly it would sell out as well.
-
JugheadJust out of curiosity, what was the Phillies' attendance figures when they weren't winning the division? Exactly.

Yup.
In 2001 Philadelphia averaged 22k fans per game. Less than half this year. -
justincredibleOnly 20k in 2002 after a 86-76 second place finish in 2001.
-
justincredibleSo yeah, Reds fans suck. Just like every other fan base.

What?? Haha he's been in slump but come on, he is still up there statistically among the better LF in the National League. Be patient. -
Jawbreaker"Since acquiring Scott Rolen from Toronto roughly one year ago, the Reds are 70-42 when he starts and 12-26 when he doesn't, tweets John Fay of the Cincinnati Enquirer."
I saw this little stat on mlbtraderumors.com. I wouldn't have thought he would make that big of an impact when they made the move. -
Ironman92^^^^I'd like to find the threads on the huddle about when he was traded.....most were quite negative.
Right now Rolen needs a rest and hopefully he isn't bothered much during the break but players tend to get overwhelmed with family and friend issues during the break...simply have to have his production and professionalism. Gomes and Bruce need to be more patient at the plate.
