The Three Kings of Miami

  • IggyPride00
Lebron is practicing as a wingman already.

This is D-Wade's team. He will be introduced last in the starting line-up, take the last shot, and serve as the face of the franchise. Bosh/Lebron will fill in around him.

The way they are posed is no accident.

Usually when trying to build a team through FA in the first place, it hardly ever works.

Right. Isn't San Antonio an example of this? When they were winning titles, they didn't really make a huge free agency splash right? All of their greats were drafted from within the organization, from Robinson to Duncan to Parker and perhaps the biggest draft steal ever in Ginobli.

P.S. Chris Bosh is an ugly motherfucker. He looks like a rapist in that first picture Iggy posted.

hoops the OKC way is great but your team truly has to hit rock bottom and then hope theres a stud in the draft like a durant.remember they had ray allen to trade to get the high pick to get jeff green.

Haha Lebron is now "Pippen". Not that there is anything wrong with that cause Pippen was good. But Lebron is no MJ!

I'm not talking full blown OKC tank and get into the lottery for a couple years rebuild.. I'm just saying it's going to be a similar approach in which we stockpile draft picks, even if we don't intend to use them all ourselves, they become valuable trade assets to sweeten a pot.. We're going to make trades. Free Agents should be our last resort because like I said, building a team through FA is usually a recipe for disaster to begin with. Certainly you add the 'extra' pieces through FA and Cleveland will always be able to add those 2nd and 3rd tier type of guys in FA.

Grant made it clear that the Cavs will be competitive, all the while they make the roster younger and keep the flexibility for the future.

Let's face it, LeBron isn't even Pippen yet. :)

and don't you think that Gilbert knew what a hypocritical liar that James IS??? he had to play along with his spoiled sense of entitlement to have any chance of resigning him....also,don't assume most of us would move to a city where 60% of the population speaks Spanish and is hotter than hell most of the year--he could go anywhere he wants, anytime he wants-regardless of who he is playing for...it's about his ego--period.

How is he going to build this championship caliber team that he's guaranteeing when he can't attract championship caliber players,
If he can't do it via the draft and trades, he won't do it.
  • Swamp Fox
I would agree that this task appears impossible, but Dan Gilbert is not happy and Dan Gilbert has a lot of money. If it can be done, I think he'll do it. Motivation created by blind hatred sometimes brings results. I know for a fact that it would make my day.

I obviously didn't watch the welcoming party but if Bosh really said months...SMH. Not only is he the ugliest dinosaur looking fucker I've ever seen but he's clearly an idiot, too. I figured it would take longer than a day for the shady stories to surface.

I have a feeling that in the coming weeks, we are going to hear some really interesting things. Gilbert is going to sell Lebron out, just like Lebron sold his soul to the devil.

LBJ: "The last day, I wanted it to be just about me".

Wade, Bosh, Miami fans....Get used to it.

This from a guy who had all of this ESPN "The Decision" stuff planned out for weeks?

Eh..the story puts way too much into it. Just skip to about the 3:20 mark, you'll see what they are talking about in the article about the 'slip up'.

Personally, I don't even care if there was or wasn't shady stuff, tampering, etc. For me it's just more proof that LeBron is a dirtbag. If he really knew he was leaving for months it's makes the entire spectacle even worse. He knew he was gone but led on the Cavs and their fans, handcuffed the organization and then broke the city's heart. And I don't believe for a second that he wishes it could have happened differently, which is what he said after he acknowleged the fans were upset. He is a liar and an asshole.

the spurs have had some good drafts.they got dejuan blair in the 2nd round last year and a few years back drafted tiago splitter out of europe. hes supposed to be the best big man over there and he will be a spur this coming season.as for going back to the david robinson days. the spurs got him because they were horrible and drafted high.the team improved immediately but they had a season where everybody went down to injury including robinson and there record was horrible again and there was tim duncan for the taking.

What is more realistic; Miami winning 7 championships or the Cavs winning 1?

    Advantage: Lebron.
  • wes_mantooth
lol...I found this old article recirculating around the RCF...people are sooooo funny.

    neither cause they wont happen

This has got to be the dumbest assed thing I have seen in a long time. I haven't watched an NBA game in a long time I only check scores but this just gives me another reason not to watch.

MJ would have never stooped to these levels and said such asinine things. I for one will be hoping Lebron never gets 1 championship.

I don't think the Heat will win 7, but I think they will get a few. The Cavs are done until they find that next superstar to build around.
