I can't remember which one of them it was, but they were going on about feeling sorry for whoever has to try and guard them. Lebron said when he is out running the break with Wade and Bosh you could put Pat Riley out there to run with them it will be so easy.
Lebron talking about the 7 championships.
I mean these guys were writing some awful big checks tonight with their mouths. They've clearly got some game to back it up, but they are doing nothing to downplay expectations, and if anything are trying to ramp them up from already lofty heights.
I am going to laugh so damn hard if this thing blows up in their faces. I see they have out-clauses after 4 years... Who's to say they don't try to move on to another city if they do well? Or who's to say they did the 4 year thing for a reason in case this thing does blow up... -

Because it wasn't city-wide fellatio when the Cavs won the lottery and drafted him in 2003? (and most of the shit in Cleveland in general)
I get being pissed that he left, I just get pissed when the comments reflect the exact same things that went down while he was here. -

The 4 year thing was more so they could get one more max deal under their belt while someone will still pay it.
Wade will be too old, but if 6 year deals are still around someone will gladly give a 29 year old Lebron and 30 year old Bosh a 5-6 year max deal most likely. Wade will be 5 months shy of his 33rd birthday at that point, so he won't get that deal but that won't stop the other 2.
I was convinced had he come back to Cleveland he was going to demand a 3-4 year out deal as well for that very same reason. The fact the out comes after 4 years instead of 3 though helps the Heat immeasurably because as we saw in Cleveland that 1 extra year will make a world of difference in the pressure it takes off management to make rash decisions. -
hoops23This was from Bill Simmons' Cleveland Mail-bag as well:
5. The Nazgul
The Nazgul were the characters in "Lord of the Rings" that were former kings who turned into demons that were constantly chasing the ring. It completely consumed them and robbed them of their humanity. I think this sums up the situation in Miami. -

Little ol market of Cleveland doubled the others. This is how much we cared. Everybody and their momma was watching in Cleveland.
No the Indians are in last place and have the worst attendance record so Cleveland doesn't care bro. -

Yeah, SO TRUE!
Cleveland is a TERRIBLE sports town that doesn't give a shit about anything sports related.... Aside from 8 Browns games a year. -

Yeah, well, I'm neither a CLE fan nor a Lebron fan.
I never saw the spectacle when he was drafted. I'd agree the fog has lifted for many CLE fans. -

LOL so true -
FootwedgeLOL at LeBron and his 7 rings. Pinnaclesports.com has them at even money just to win the east.....and they are 2.5 to 1 underdog to win it all. Dumbass should have stayed in Cleveland....the team with the best record over the past 2 years.

I mean, I hate the dude now too but damn...
No way is having high socks useful while playing basketball. Most people wear the kind you can not see.
