Weekend boxing 7/9

Hulk SmashA rare thread that is not about LeBron James
FNF has a solid main event tomorrow:
Lightweights Hank Lundy(18-0-1) vs John Molina(26-1)
Molina has been on FNF a few times before and he is all-action, all-the-time.
Lundy's unbeaten record has not been built on bums. In his last ten fights this will be his sixth opponent with one or no losses coming in. I expect to see Lundy on HBO in the future.
Very solid headliner for espn imo.
Shobox has two rising welterweights tomorrow.
Mike Jones(21-0) vs Irving Garcia(17-4-3)
Antwone Smith(18-1-1) vs Lanrdo Tyner(23-3)
Smith and Jones are should be fighting each other imo. I expect both to win by middle round stoppage.
Showtime has little guys on Saturday.
You like knockouts? You'll see them here.
Juan Manual Lopez(28-0) vs Bernabe Concepcion(28-3-1)
It'll be great while it lasts...................sleep tight Bernabe
Nonito Donaire(23-1) vs Hernan Marquez(27-1)
This will be good too.....................I hope Marquez lands in a comfortable position when he goes to sleep. -
captvernI havent got a chance to check Lundy out yet. Hopefully he doesnt dissapoint on fnf

Hulk SmashGreat show on FNF tonight but Lundy did drop the ball.
The fight was nothing like I expected, when I've seen Molina before he never stopped punching but tonight all he did was look for one big punch.........................and it worked.
Lundy dominated the fight making it look easy until walking into a right hand in the 8th and getting hurt bad. He recovered and seemed to be regaining control when he got hurt by a left hook and stopped on the ropes a little later. I had Lundy who was fighting in his hometown ahead 97-92 going into the 11th. A little less showboating and he might be still be undefeated.
Great win for Molina though, coming from behind to stop a guy on his turf.
The first fight was better, Vladine Biosse and Joe McCreedy had an all action fight for 8 rounds. Biosse moved his record to 7-0.
The arena they were in looked small but they had it filled with a vocal crowd. Excellent show on FNF tonight.
