Tribe vs. A's Game 2
-
BRFCan't believe I had to start a thread at 4-4 in the 10th!
Come on Tribe! -
newarkcatholicfanI think we were posting at the same time.
Sorry about that. -
BRF.....AND we win with a LaPorta base knock for our 3rd.walk off win of the year!
-
BRFYeah, NCF, I was listening to the end of the game and decided to check in and see what others were saying. Imagine my surprise when I saw that there was no thread! Ha Ha! So I beat you out by a couple minutes. It's all good.

newarkcatholicfanFunny thing is when this team is winning there seems to be a lot of fans but when they play like shit only a few of us continue to post.
(Can't wait to hear how everyone was doing something else tonight) -
ts1227To be fair, most people are watching fireworks, or doing something else social tonight.
That's not an excuse at all, it's Saturday on the 4th of July weekend.
THere's only a few of us losers here to post -
newarkcatholicfanI don't like fireworks but can admit I am one of the losers on here, a lot.
Unlike others I do not pretend to be anything else. -

Tigerfan00I seen that Laporta has batted .360 since being called up. Its amazing what happens when a guy knows that he has a spot on the team and will play everyday. In the interview with him after the game he even said its nice not having to look at the lineup card to see if hes playing or not.

Me neither...I wonder who he is referring to? Please tell us.Unlike others I do not pretend to be anything else
Nice victory...25,000 saw it...of which I was one. If Laporta continues to hit, that C.C. trade might be so bad! -

Fireworks nights are good for attendance inflation. They draw a shitload when they shoot off fireworks (I know from experience, the fireworks are pretty sweet too). -
kayo
Not in your usual seats though...the view from the front row was great!HitsRus;410340 wrote:Me neither...I wonder who he is referring to? Please tell us.

royal_kAnother nice win for the good guys.
Matt LaPorta has been very impressive. He looks like a much more confident hitter now. -

In a loge with a friend. Got 2 tix for today, ....ahhhh but 90 degrees may keep me away. My dad is in the hospital so I might watch the game with him there.
Don'tcha just love those seats? Good view, right price.
Glad to see you on the site! -
Tigerfan00I just read in the Plain Dealer that Eric Wedge is in the running to be the next manager for the Baltimore Orioles.
ahahahahahahahaha -
Laley23Saw the highlights late last night. I drunkenly acted like we won the World Series haha. Good for LaPorta. Hope he continues his raking.
