when do the gates open at progressive field?

  A quick search of google says two hours before game time, not sure how accurate that is.

  yep that should be right. i know the gates in left field are closed, but the gates in center field off E 9th are open 2 hours before the game. a few of the other ones maybe be open too, but that is the one i had to use that early.

  Well the gates opened 2 1/2 hours prior to the game but 3 kids still got 4 bp balls so all is good - cannot believe how many adults will snatch a ball away from a kid but whatever trips their trigger I guess

  ha, i watched a little kid steal a ball from my buddy. She was wearing a glove and after the game, some of the players were throwing balls out of the dug out. she caught one and came over to me to show me. as she opened her glove up to show me, some kid reached up and snatched it out of her glove and ran off. so to me, its all fair game haha.
  
  my thing is, if the ball comes to me, its mine. if i get two, the second one goes to the closest kid. so far, i have 0 balls and i have been to 20 games in the last 2 years. so your kids are doing pretty good haha. i think i might start borrowing little kids when i goto games.
