Five to six months rehab for that particular injury. -
Azubuike24Season over for sure. You don't tear an achilles and play tackle in the NFL within 7 months.
-
miller45452003a big F-U to Capone on this.

Tough break for Colon. It's too bad for the solid Steeler fans like Non, Heretic, Ewok, thavoice etc but for Capone, karma's a bitch. And frankly, I'm surprised it wasn't Ben who tore somebodies colon.
Not worth a separate thread but I see that Casey Hampton's home was burglarized...

Love the colon joke. Was just coming here to make that joke. -

Dont know what you are getting at. This will be a positive for the Steelers. -
killer_ewokDamn. That stinks. Trai Essex or Jonathan Scott time unless they go out and sign someone like Flozell Adams.
-
rock_knutneThis isn't good, I thought the Oline had a real chance for a break out year.
-
NonWith Colon out, it probably means
LT-Starks
LG-Kemoeatu
C-Hartwig
RG-Pouncey
RT will be a competition between Essex, Ramon Foster, Jonathan Scott who they picked up from Buffalo and Chris Scott who they just drafted
Not going to be experienced at all on the right side. -
killer_ewokLooks like Flozell Adams is on the Steelers' radar.

NonAs that article states, maybe on the right side he wouldn't be too bad.
-
Nonscratch Chris Scott off the list of players competing for right tackle
he also went down with a broken foot and is out three months, says Gerry Dulac of the Post Gazette -
HereticNot a huge fan of Colon and his (at least) one false start per game, but he's been a starter for awhile and has cohesiveness with most of the unit (not counting Pouncey, obviously). And a lot of the time, as far as OL play goes, having guys who've been together for some time can be one of the most important factors out there. Hopefully, they can get a quality replacement.
