  Lol, Im a fraud because I like the Spanish Soccer League? Sorry, I enjoy soccer, and I enjoy the best soccer so I watch La Liga. Just because the American league isnt the best doesnt mean we are fucking frauds for liking European soccer. Its the best, BY FAR. Its the same reason people from all over the world come to play in the MLB, NBA, PGA, LPGA, etc and the same reason people from all over the world follow those leagues (and the NFL). Its the best players and competition of those given sports. I mean, shit lets all call the NHL a bunch of frauds. Half the fucking league is foreign. All those players are frauds....it doenst make sense.

  Ive been playing soccer since I was 3, and watching it since I was 6. I dont see how I am putting on an act. In fact, I dont think I even talk about soccer in public or watch in public outside of the World Cup. Its not like I am pushing it on people or flaunting the fact that I watch and follow it, so if Im putting on an act, its a solo act.
  
  Not to mention, im not getting into La Liga. Ive been following the league since 1993 (when I was 7).

  They need to change the rules for one thing. When the ball goes out of bounds, syop the fuvkin clock. Good Gawd yall...it ain't that hard. Instead, the refereee estimates how much time there should be added? WTFIThat? And then nobody knows for sure how much time is left in the extra period.
  
  The next rule that needs to be changed is the asinine off sides call. Off sides for what? Let the players cherry pick if they want to. You dopn't see off sides in hoops do you?
  
  And finally, make the goal net another 10 feet wider....at least. How many actual shots on goal were there in the US Ghana game? 6 total?
  
  I understand that soccer players are highlky skilled in what they do. But 1-0 games are fucking boring to me. They just are. All that skill, athleticism, field awareness and what have you. And what do you get? A 1 to nothin game. Hopefully you soccer fans don't take a dump at the wrong time.

  haha come on now. first of all the extra time at the end of halfs isnt for when the ball goes out of bounds. its more for stoppages in play like injuries, bookings, and susbstitutions, etc. play doesnt stop when the ball goes out of bounds like in other sports, so you cant stop the clock. Plus, the extra time adds a little suspense to the end of the game.
  
  Haha offsides, what about hockey and football, should offsides be eliminated in those sports too? You don’t see offsides in hoops because defense doesn’t really exist in hoops like it does in other sports. When was the last time you saw a shut out in basketball?
  
  And I don’t get the facisination with high scoring. Higher scoring games doesn’t equal more action or better play, it just looks that way on paper.

  Let's say there was a young kid, a white kid wearing long shorts down to his ankles, all black clothes, hat turned backwards.   Footwedge, good post. But your thoughts on offside (no "s" by the way) are way off base. The rule opens up the game more than it compacts it. If you allowed people to cherry pick....well the other team is retarded. They arent going to, they will have defenders back with them. It would creat literally ZERO space to run into. You wouldnt have guys able to make runs behind people. Every shot would be from 20 plus yards. People who think the offside rule needs to go are off base in their assumptions of how the game would change. It would be disastrous.
