Rotoworld:NBA executive believes Lebron/Bosh to Chicago is a "done deal"
-
gibby08An unnamed NBA executive believes that LeBron James is "strongly leaning toward joining the Bulls in tandem with another free agent, Chris Bosh."
"I think it’s a done deal," the executive said. This is not the final word, of course, and LeBron will still meet with at least five teams (the Bulls, Cavaliers, Knicks, Clippers, Nets, and Heat) once free agency begins.

Take it with a grain of salt...but if executives are talking like this...it starts to gain traction -

Those are two very different things. That article is a joke -

God forbid you lose that bad ass website -
IggyPride00If Chicago can make the money work, a starting line-up with Rose at the point, Lebron at the 2, Deng at the 3, Bosh/Boozer/Stourdamire at the 4 and Noah playing center would probably be the best in the league with the and the Lakers being 1 and 1a.
Chris Broussard was on Kenny Roda's show yesterday and basically saying the same thing, that even though he is personally from Cleveland (Broussard) and he would love Lebron to stay, if Chicago can bring in Lebron and a stud PF he almost has to go if winning is truly the most important part of the decision.
Rose (only 21) is 7 years younger than D-Wade, and Noah and Dang are both 25, same as Lebron, and Bosh just turned 26. That could feasibly be a championship core for a decade, and give Lebron that chance to win 3-5 championships because everyone will be young, signed, and heading into their prime together. If Taj Gibson continues to show signs of being able to develop and they add some key veterans at the minimum that is a scary team.
I thought Chicago was in the mix as a possibility, but the Wizards taking on the last 2 years and $ million of Hinrich's' deal for him to be a back-up point guard may have inadvertantly swung the balance of power in the east squarely into Chicago now that they can afford a star big man to pair with Lebron.
Roda asked Broussard (who is very plugged into what's going on with Lebron behind the scenes as he broke the news having spoken to Maverick Carter about the lack of an LBJ recruiting tour ) about Chris Grant's supposed lack of concern about what other teams were doing clearing cap room. Broussard essentially said if he's truly not concerned, then he needs to be fired immediately because this thing with Chicago is serious as a heart attack right now. If he is playing dumb about the situation, which is what we hope, then he needs to make something happen pronto he said because when these teams all come to LBJ to make presentations you have to have something in hand to show him that you can give him a better situation than what you're asking him to walk way from with the other teams. Right now though things at Cleveland Clinic Courts in Independence are spinning out of control. -
mallymal614Maybe this is the real reason why Lebron wanted to change his number from 23 to 6?

if he was planning on going to chicago, he wouldnt have had to file for a number change. he only has to do that if he stays with the same team. -
newarkcatholicfanCan't stand the Bulls so I hope this is not true but if is I will be happy he is out of loserville.

KR1245Everybody has an opinion and everybody has a "source". I just read an article a day ago that said he was going to NY. Dont listen to anything these writers have to say right now. NOBODY knows what he is going to do, anybody that claims that they do is full of shit. Its that simple.

The executive said he had gleaned from his discussions with other league executives that James is leaning toward joining the Bulls, along with Bosh, his teammate on the United States' gold medal-winning 2008 Olympic team. The Times reported the executive did not want to be named because he was discussing a player who was not yet a free agent. -
KR1245OR the executive didnt want to be named because this is simply his opinion. The guy has NOTHING to go on.

gibby08^^^
Or maybe you're just pissed because it keeps looking more and more likely that he is going to leave -

Ummm no. Its ONE guys opinion. It means NOTHING. There are way too many rumors floating around to take anything serious. -
gibby08No...it's the opinion of alot of people that he is most likely going to sign in Chicago..not just one guy
-
hoops23Funny.
Yesterday the NY Times reported LeBron was leaning towards the Knicks.
You do understand that stories like this will come out everyday until he signs somewhere right? -

sportswizuhrdAn NBA general manager reportedly told Jon Rothstein of MSG Network that Chris Bosh will certainly sign with the Heat as a free agent.
"This has been planned for a long time," the GM said. "Chris is going to Miami."

Haha, excellent timing. -
KR1245"A lot of people" were also saying that he would be in NY on the 1st to be wined and dined by the Knicks.......thats not happening. Some moron has a "source" and people take it and run. I'm amazed at how much bad reporting has taken place over the past few weeks.
