Strasburg Loses 1st Game.....to umpire

  • Ironman92
....and the fact his team can't score

Strasburg stuck out 9...walked zero and took the 1-0 loss to the Royals

Adding to the stupidity Josh Willngham was 1/2 way home but went back to 3rd not knowing that the 1st baseman bobled the ball to score the tying run.....but in the 6th good ol freaking Hunter Wendelsted (Scott Rolen's favorite) calls Roger Bernadina out at home on a single by Dunn.....everyone in teh park knew he was safe...but Wendlested called him out because he's the ump that wasn't to make the wrong call at the big time so everyone can look at him.

Replays weren't needed but clearly showed Bernadina being well under the tag......the putrid Nationals couldn't score again......1st big league loss

Wins and losses for a pitcher are the least important and most ridiculous stat to prove their worth.

In other words, SS is still tearing it up. He has been nothing but extremely impressive.

Yeah that is kinda bad but still 9Ks and 0BBs is pretty impressive! I think its even worse the Nats couldn't get a run(besides the one that they should have had).

he was gonna lose sometime. Nobody makes it through the majors undefeated for their career.

On the other hand, from the little I saw the Royals seemed to have the right approach, just try to dink and dime him, they let him supply the power and merely put the ball in play

SMH at the plate umpire for being way out of position to make that call. I've seen the same call blown a hundred times...the same way. The umpire needs to be behind the right handed batters box in order to see the play. What the hell is the matter with these lazy umps?
