  Despite struggling lately, the best golfer in the world shot a 66 yesterday. I don't think it's too foolish to think if he played well today he could win. It obviously isn't turning out that way, but it's easy to say that after he isn't making a run.

  McDowell will now be back to -2. I swear I will puke if Havret wins. He is reminding me an awful lot though of Ben Curtis at the 03 Open he won when all the other big names faltered around him while he played steady.

  McDowell needs to send Phil, Ernie and Tiger a thankyou note after the tournament for making no effort to run him down today. This has been the most anti-climatic round of golf I have possibly ever watched, as the leaders have been coming back to the field all day and the field's answer has consistently been to run the other way.

  McDowell is choking away his lead on the 14th. This is an ugly performance by everyone. Who knows how this is gonna end, but even par is probably looking decent right now.

  I was really excited about it heading into today but that was super boring. I hope Phil, Ernie and Tiger stare at the final leaderboard tonight and wonder how the fuck they let Havret and McDowell finish in front of them. Those 2 would probably been shitting their pants most likely had any of the 3 of them started making a bunch of birdies, but that just never happened. When you see them sliding down the board at the same time you are making bogeys like McDowell was, you never have to press really because they aren't making up ground. I am just stunned no one made a run today.

  Looks like Tiger kept his streak of never coming from behind to win and Dustin Johnson kept his streak of never winning a major in tact.
  
  Shocking a player who had never won fell apart on Sunday at the Open. What was he 70-71-66-82......nice

  Yeah hopefully today's round doesn't completely destroy Johnson's confidence. He played really well for the first 3 rounds at a very tough course. I think he is only 25, maybe 26 and he has a lot of talent. If he can keep it together mentally, he is going to have a very good career and will get multiple shots at majors. I don't think he is going to get a lot of sleep the next few nights.
