Celtics @ Lakers Game 6 (BOS leads 3-2)- Brink of elimination

osu45804I honestly can see why people would lol .... But man he just turns it on to an extra level in the playoffs
-
wes_mantoothYep....sad to say, but he was the best player on the court in the Celt/Cavs series.
-
SageLakers handle their business.

wildcats20So Phil is classless when he speaks the truth?? Paul Pierce even came out and said he was right.

And the thing is .... He is just finishing his 3rd year in the league & already has 5 career triple doubles in the playoffs... and does so much for this team. And he still has so much to work on. We've been saying it since last season if he can just develop a outside shot he will be unguardable. But he has found that mid-range 12-15 foot shot and became comfortable taking it which is good. He sometimes goes way to fast during fast breaks and tries to score even when it's 1 on 2 or 3. He'll get lucky and get fouled at times but he also gets going & tries to do to much and turns the ball right back over. He takes a lot of gambles and lets his man get past him and tries to poke it out from behind him and it has worked a lot but sometimes playing straight up works as well.... But right now there is a lot more good than bad w/ Rondo. And I'll take it -
wildcats20I have a honest question about Rondo.
First off, I can't stand him lol. But he is dominating pretty much anyone and everyone this postseason, so I'll for sure give him credit.
My question to all of you(mostly OSU and gorocks) is, do you think Rondo would be the player he is right now without the "big 3"?? -

No, he just sounds like a pompous ass....it happens. Doesn't deter from how good of a coach he is. -

I don't think he would've become the player he is without having those guys on his team, no. I think they've been instrumental in his development as a big-time player in the league. Now, I'm NOT saying he's nothing without them -- far from it -- but I think in terms of him developing, from where he was 3 years ago to now, the big 3 have been really really important. -

That's kind of what I was getting at. I totally agree.
But honestly, with the way he is playing right now; I think he would be just fine somewhere else. The kid is really coming into his own as a player and is definitely the future of the Boston franchise. -
Trueblue23Lakers need to do whatever it takes to win.
If Kobe scores more than 35, we lose IMO -

Rondo is a beast while Mo Williams is a festering vagina. -

i think you're giving mo too much credit.
also as much as i hate everything about the city of boston and its sports teams, i think it would be an interesting chink in kobe's armor if the lakers were to lose this one -

Honestly No, But how can anyone especially a young PG not benefit from being in a lineup for 3 seasons with 3 Hall of Famers .... He has taken KG's heart, Ray's dedication and Pierce's will to win.... He'll consistently be a All-Star PG in this league if he just keeps doing what he is doing and basically improve on everything I talked about earlier with limiting his turnovers, maybe expand his range a little more, stop taking so many gambles on defense.... and definitely improve his FT %.... But KG, Paul & Ray have helped him become the player he is today w/o question.wildcats20;389655 wrote:I have a honest question about Rondo.

Game 6 Officials:
Expect whistles? Tonight's refs: Monty McCutchen, Joe DeRosa, Ken Mauer. 2/3 from Game 2's 58 foul-a-thon; DeRosa crew - 56 fouls in Game 1 -
wildcats20Wonderful lol

Hb31187I would do bad bad things to Christina Aguillara
-
Bigred1995I don't care what type of music you like or how you feel about Christina Aguillara, the way she sang the National Anthem tonight was just amazing.

Trueblue23Her boobs looked great.
-
Trueblue23Game time.
-
mallymal614I'm eager to see how Ray Allen comes out. In my opinion, he is a player who is either ON or OFF. Rarely any in between with him.
-
osu45804I'd LOVE Banner 18 tonight!!! LET'S GO CELTICS!!
-
Trueblue23GO LAKERS!

wildcats20Not a good shot to start from Kobe.
