touche' haha. I was mainly saying that if you are in a lineup you also have to hit (or at least hit better than .200). Just because you can throw the 1 guy out per game who tries to steal in the American League, doesn't mean you get a free pass offensively. -

Yup. I picked him up for my fantasy team. Santana is going to be a stud. -
BRFAnd one for here, too, in honor of 4 straight:

newarkcatholicfanUnlike some two games does not give me much to go on as far as Santana goes but I have liked what he has shown me so far.

I will try to find that stat later.
Better look long and hard...because you won't find anything that substantiates your claim. VMart's throw out percentage was less than 10% over his last 2 years.; He was down right horrible. And now, he's stinkin out the joint w/ Boston. Can no longer blame it on the tribe pitchers...

newarkcatholicfanThanks for that.
Do you have what he did for his career at Cleveland?
I do find it funny so many of those(not you)who claim to be Tribe fans always blamed most of V-MARTS problems as far as throwing base runners out were mostly the fault of the Indians starting pitchers.
I always said he was not good at this and it was mostly his fault.
*-I hope but do not see C.S. being any better than V.M. at this but I also do not see C.S. staying behind the plate his whole career, in Cleveland. -
hoops23I think you guys are misinterpreting what I'm saying regarding Lou Marson. He's not our starter, Carlos Santana will be. Lou Marson was brought up to be groomed as a back up for Santana, it's been said all year. He's a nice back up because he's nice defensively. Marson was only sent down so he didn't stay on the bench up here and continued to get AB's to improve offensively.
Carlos Santana is the truth though. I have him on my fantasy team and expect big things for him. I've followed him ever since we got him for Casey Blake.
Like I said from the beginning, he'd be up mid-June, and he's delivered. -
newarkcatholicfanThe young catcher did well his first series.
