It will be Lakers vs. Cavs.

The way the season is shaping up as far as play, contracts, and injuries I truly think Ferry is going to make a BIG move to push the Cavs into the Finals imo.

Cavs cant beat Orlando or Boston

How can you honestly say that when all teams did a major change to their roster, mainly the Magic and Cavs?

The Cavs built their team to stop the Magic (added Shaq to slow Howard, added Parker/Moon for heigth and perimeter defense), but the Magic went ahead and traded the player that bothered the Cavs the most.

Boston will be tough but I am not sure they will have enough in the tank at the end of the year. Their main pieces are old and all it takes is another KG type injury to send the team in a downward spiral.

But thats just my opinion, which you will probably disagree with.

As long as the Lakers win it this lifetime Laker fan will be happy.

Hopefully, it will be the Celtics. We owe them one, and there is no other team in the NBA I take greater satisfaction seeing them lose to the Lakers.

    Boston Celtics

I agree with Boston but I think they will be able to beat Orlando now that Turk is gone.

It depends on how Boston holds up imo. Everyone saw what happened when one of the Big 3 got knocked out of the lineup.
  • bigdaddy2003
^ Oh yeah it most definitely depends on the health of the big 3 mostly importantly KG.

No, you can argue with most like bigdaddy or True, but guys like Mike or whatever his name is you just ignore lol.

Ha I'm not a clown. The Cavs for whatever reason have just lost a certain step this season. I just feel if healthy Boston is the best team in the East. Orlando getting rid of Turk and Alston was dumb because now Nelson has to have surgery and they will have to play Anthony Johnson at point guard.

^^ He'll only play a bit. White Chocolate is now the starter. Things havn't changed for me. I still see the Celtics going and getting beat by the Lake Show.

I don't think Cleveland has lost a certain step this year, they really haven't played with everyone together as one unit and that is hard when you are implementing 3 new starters.

I figured it would take some time for Cleveland to get going but once they do they will be a tough out come playoff time. They fixed all their major problems imo with Shaq countering Howard and then adding tall, athletic guards on the perimeter. A big thing for Cleveland is that they will need Williams and others to step up come playoff time to support LeBron.

The Celtics aren't pushing past the Cavs even though they have a starting roster that is basically identical to last years. Orlando lost one of their main threats against the Cavs (Hedo) and Cleveland countered other holes by getting Shaq and perimeter defenders.

Cleveland is playing well despite having to rotate 3 new starters, having West go AWOL for some time, and then missing Shaq/AV for multiple games. Get these guys going and it should be fun.

How the hell has Cleveland lost a step?

They've been getting a new cast of guys gelled into the starting line up, they've been missing 2 of their 3 best big men, AND they still have one of the better records in the league.

    The Cavs will be fine.

cavs lost their first 2, they are done.

i took my season tix to goodwill and they wouldn't even take em.

    EXACTLY.

The Cavs and Lakers drop a few early season games and people act like it is the end of the world hahaha

I originally said Lakers vs Cavs in the Finals, but I want to change that to Lakers vs Celtics. It's nothing against Cleveland at all, Boston just looks really good this year.

    BUT...

    Don't sleep on Denver... ugh..

Carter has done a hell of a job steping in and replacing Hedo

I have a question for all of you bandwagon Cavs fans...

Where were all of you when they sucked and were the worst team in the NBA?

Yeah, and I have never seen such a user name changing douchebag in my life either.

If you think Carter will present Cleveland with the same problems as Hedo then you are truly an idiot. First off, Hedo presented Cleveland with a huge mismatch at 6'10. Then you look at 16.8 ppg, 5.3 rpg, and 4.9 assists per game. He handled the ball and did more than Carter who is at 6'6 (now West could guard him unlike Hedo) 17.1 ppg, 3.9 rpg, and only 1.8 asg. Carter doesn't work the ball better than Hedo off the P&R nor does he present a mismatch on the perimeter.
