Buccos @ Red Legs - Game 4
-
wildcats20Looking for the series win tonight.
It's 5-0 Reds in the bottom of 2.
Brucey has a solo shot in the 1st.
Rolen had a 3 run shot in the 1st as well.
BP grounded into a FC in the 2nd, scoring OC on a throwing error.
Cueto has 36 pitches through 2. 3 strike outs and 1 hit. -
wildcats20Stubbs with a 2 run single and it's 7-0.
-
rugbywrestlerWhats up with Votto? Havent been listening in...
-
wildcats20Apparently a stiff neck.
Plus Dusty supposedly has wanted to get him a day or 2 off. -
RotinajWhat's the deal w Phillips??? Didn't realize he only has 15 RBIs on the year. Looked bad in both at bats today with risp both times. Dude needs to step up.
-
osu45804Sac Fly 8-0
-
wildcats20Not only are the Reds bats dominating the Pirates tonight, but Cueto is looking great AGAIN.\
-
justincredibleThis team just might be for real. Should be a fun summer.
-
wildcats20The pitching is there, no doubt about that IMO. I'm curious to see if the bats will stay hot or not.
-
Mooney44CardsScary thought:
No one in the Reds lineup tonight is batting above .290
And look at the score.
Cueto could strike out 15 tonight if he keeps it up. -
RotinajCairo is on fireeee. I'm sorry I ever doubted you!!!
-
Midstate01I think I owe ciaro I personal appology
-
Mooney44CardsI think we all owe Cairo a personal apology. Dude is raking it at the plate AND he just had a pretty nice pick at 1B.
Like I said last night.....its good to get him some ABs, he knocks the rust off, so he's fresh when we really need him to either pinch hit in an important situation or spell Votto to keep him fresh for.....dare I say it?.....October? -
stroups
I believe this was my comment last night............ lolCairo in the 2 hole............. that is just mind boggling -
Ironman92Cairo is stepping up as needed.......Jocketty is looking smarter and smarter
Phillips is doing fine in the 2 hole.....he'll score 110+ runs if he stays there and throw in 40 doubles and 20 SB......that's what he should've been doing the past 2 seasons. -
jordo212000There was a quote on ESPN's fantasy news for Votto that said Cairo was getting another start for Votto, but the fact Cairo is hitting in the 2-hole is a head scratcher haha.
Cairo had another good night. He has been solid, that's for sure. -
Mooney44CardsI'm really hoping Sam LeCure does well.
I want nothing more than to be wracking my brain everyday worrying about what we're gonna do cuz we have too many good pitchers. -

Add Edinson to the mix in the dog days and we have problems (good ones) haha. Wonder if Volquez will pitch in the pen?Mooney44Cards wrote: I'm really hoping Sam LeCure does well.

I wouldn't mind seeing Harang dealt by the deadline.jordo212000 wrote:

Mooney44CardsI'd like to see Homer in the bullpen to be honest. But we'll see how he does when he comes back from the DL.

HereticCharlie Morton needs to go to AAA to get his confidence back. He was very solid for a good chunk of last year, but he's the Bizarro World Ubaldo Jimenez this year (1-9, 9.35ish ERA???). He will be RUINED if he's allowed to fail every damn start because he can't get shit done despite having very good stuff (at least according to people in the organization)
Fuck...right now, he needs the same treatment Cleveland's Carmona got last year...getting sent down to the lowest level possible, rebuilding himself and working his way back up. -
HereticFun fact I read on another board I go to.
Pittsburgh's record: 20-28.
Pittsburgh's record in games NOT started by Charlie Morton: 19-19.
Pittsburgh's record in games started by Charlie Morton: 1-9 (with him getting every decision).
His ineptitude and the club's baffling desire to stick with him could be seen as a primary reason why the team isn't .500ish right now.
