Suns @ Lakers Game 5- Do it NOW
-
Trueblue23Time for the Lakers to put up or shut up.
-
sleeperI wouldn't be surprised to see the Suns win this one and the next one.
-
2quik4ulooks like gasoft is back
-
I Wear PantsIt'd be awesome if Steve Nash and the Suns could take the series.
-
wildcats20I still contest that the best lineup the Lakers can put on the floor is:
Brown/Farmar
Kobe/Brown(if Jordan is at the 1)
Artest/Kobe(see above)

PrescottThe Suns are just fun to watch. Every player on the team contributes. It wouldn't bother me at all if the Suns took down the Lakers.

2quik4ukobe needs a viable #2 option
-
wildcats20Kenny just made a good point.
As much as we all like to rag on Sasha, the guy can shoot the rock. He's not hurt anymore, ankle is fine, Phil needs to give him some run in Game 5 IMO. -
FootwedgeFisher's banging Kobe's mom.

wildcats20He can still shoot. Phil just has buried him on the bench all year. And only played him in laughers.

People seem to forget how dominant the Lakers looked in the 1st two games. They could very well come back out and do that again in game 5 because games 3 and 4 have no bearing whatsoever on the next one.
I still wouldn't be worried if I were a Laker fan, it's now a 3 game series with 2 games in LA. Just need to come out and play THEIR game. They got caught letting the Suns control the tempo the last 2 games, they need to remember who they are. -
jpake1This is LA ball. They did this last year before winning the championship. Some teams coast in the regular season then turn it on for the playoffs. The Lakers are so damn good they coast in the regular season, parts of the playoffs, then turn it on in the finals. Playoffs are a given, it's the finals they feel entitled to.

newarkcatholicfanWinner of this one takes the series I.M.O.

RotinajWhy do people think game 2 was such a blow out?? It was tied going into the 4th and the suns had a terrible quarter. Looks like they're better than a lot of people on here thought huh??
-
SQ_CraziesBecause the game is played for 48 minutes, not 36?

Kobe didn't go 3-14 and lose on his home court by 32 so the "Lebron excuse" doesn't apply.Footwedge wrote: Fisher's banging Kobe's mom. -
thedynasty1998I said before the series started that this would go 7. That's yet to be seen, but these two teams are a lot closer than people originally thought.
The LA size doesn't bother Phoenix and they match up well with the Lakers. Brook Lopez brings toughness and plays bigger than he is and Amare is arguably the best PF in the NBA.
It scares me that the Suns are relying on their zone defense, because you have to think that the Lakers figure it out.
And if a Lakers fan, you have to be scared that Frye busted out of his slump. He's a big key if he can knock down shots because of the Phoenix ball movement and a big having to guard him on the perimeter.
I'd love to see Phoenix pull this out, however I still think that the Lakers are the better team. -

And 2 years ago? Why didn't they turn it on?
This is such a dumb post, once again full of useless intangibles. -
SQ_CraziesI don't even think it's that close, the Lakers have just played the Suns game. That is their own fault. They lost 2 games to the Thunder too, that's a memory of the distant past now it seems.

it works for lebron everytime he loses, so i thought i would try it outSQ_Crazies wrote:

SQ_CraziesActually it doesn't work for LeBron because his #2 has been anything but viable for his entire career thus far.

2quik4uyea ok

SQ_CraziesLOL...good luck arguing otherwise.
Isn't this thread about the Lakers/Suns? And aren't you a Lakers fan? Why are we talking about LeBron?
