Are the Cavs the Mavs of the East?

  • Skyhook79
Both fired their Coaches after back to back 60 win seasons.
Both fired their Coaches a year removed from being the COY.
Both teams made multi player trades that backfired.
Both teams have owners who just throw money around trying to buy a Championship.
Both sign over the hill players that don't pan out (Kidd,Marion) (Shaq,Big Ben)
Both continue to lose and under achieve to teams in the Playoffs that they should beat.
Both have great Regular season star players.
Both have great Regular Season star players who are free agents.
Both have 1 Finals appearance in team history that didn't go well.

    any other similarities?

I'm not sure if thats true or not but both teams have players who have had runs in with the Law, looks like we have stubbled onto another similarity.

I wonder if anyone on the Mavs is/was banging Dirk's Mom?

No. The Mavs have won 50+ games in like 11 straight seasons. The Cavs will be lucky to win half that next season.
