Reasons why the Magic FAIL

jpake1Celtics are simply better, in many areas. D12 doesn't have a good offensive skill set and the Celtics have the big boys that make it hard on him. The Celtics are arguably better in 4/5 positions.

Swamp FoxThe Celtics know how to play the games that mean something. Plus, they are relatively healthy and Rondo is a beast right now. Don't forget though, that the Hollywood Lakers are still out there and will have their normal bag of tricks and miracle shots when the time comes.

SQ_CraziesAll this "attitude and know-how" stuff is BS. They're all professional athletes. They all know how to play the game, they're part of a very select group.
The answer is very simple. Boston is better. They got HEALTHY at the right time, it's not that they just "know how to win playoff games". The games are played on the same court, the same rules, the same 12 minute quarters. Same reason the Spurs as a 7 seed knocked of the 2 seed, and it's the same reason they got beat by the Suns. Health. They all know how to play. Boston is simply the better team, when healthy. You'll never convince me that a competitor like KG just sandbagged through the regular season. He was a step slow all year, he wasn't 100%. He still probably isn't, but he's healthier than he has been all year. Same with Pierce. -
Al Bundy
Boston is better than Cleveland and Orlando, but they aren't 25 or 30 points better than those teams. Both Cleveland and Orlando have quit. Neither team has the mental toughness that a champion needs. I would have a lot more respect for both teams if they put up a fight instead of just rolling over and dying.SQ_Crazies wrote: All this "attitude and know-how" stuff is BS. reclegend22Allen Iverson is definitely not overrated (remember when this word was banned on the early Huddle? Lol). He single handily willed Philly to the 2001 Finals. Matt Geiger, anyone? From about 1999 until 2002, Iverson was the best scorer in the world.
But I agree with the sentiments that Zeke was the greatest "little man" in history of the League. The late Chuck Daly once said of Isiah Thomas, "If he were six inches taller, he's the greatest player of all-time." I believe it. -
mtrulzSleeper kinda has a point. He's good, but not great.
