Why would they sign and trade him? They're not going to get anywhere close to equal value for him and it would just put unnecessary stress on their salary cap. Plus they would be known as the team that TRADED LeBron James.thedynasty1998 wrote:

The point was that you and SQ were always all over it any time somebody from New York, NJ, or any other city made some sort of plea for Lebron. I remember when the writer for ESPNewYork made a column about why Lebron should go to the Knicks, let me repeat the first part... he wrote for ESPNewYork, you guys were up in arms and were talking about how desperate the city of NY and ESPN was to have him play there.devil1197 wrote: They were desperate and have been for almost two years now, did I say anything then about Cleveland fans?
Nope, not seeing what you are getting at? What I said was correct.
Fast forward to the stupid mural of Lebron that is painted somewhere with the writing "born here, play here" (something to that effect, I know the artist was wetting himself over Lebron) and you guys thought it was awesome. Plus any time Cleveland does anything similar to try and appeal to Lebron, interestingly you never say Cleveland that "desperately" wants him back. -
End of LineHe's not going to the Mavs imo.

sleeperNo way he goes to the Mavs. I could see Chicago, Nets, or Miami if he even leaves at all, but not Dallas.

krazie45Like I said, the Cavs will not aid another team in getting LeBron.
