What were the Wizards chances of getting the first pick? Weren't they like 4th or 5th in line?
  • SQ_Crazies
John Wall live from BEVERLY HILLS? LOL
  • Trueblue23
Nets still in a great position, will probably draft Cousins or Favors.

He was at the Lakers game last night

Nets are better off taking Cousins anyways. Cousins and Lopez down low, with Harris. Makes them better than Wall, Lopez and no Harris IMO.

    Evan Turner to Philly?

I wonder if he'll pull a Kobe and refuse to play for the team that drafts him.

    Turner will be a bust

So can the LeBron + Callipari to NJ talk finally stop?

    Unfortunately, I agree.

Good point with Cousins, he may turn out to be the best in the bunch. This wasn't a Shaq or Lebron or Duncan draft, plenty of star power past the first pick (not that those were poor drafts, but the drop after #1 was big)

I think Turner would have been a good fit in Sacramento.

I don't think the prospect of a Turner/Iguo back court works out too well. Especially considering Jrue Holiday can't shoot worth shit either. I'm not sure the Sixers go that way.

Who was his college coach? Nah.....Calipari wouldn't do such a thing and hook him up with a spot out there :).

    I think Turner/AI sounds better than Turner/Evans.

    Wade, Bosh, and Anthony?

What about them? CLEARLY what he meant was that there isn't a CLEAR #1 like those drafts. Those guys are very good and were very good but LeBron was far and away the #1 choice.

Yea, LeBron's draft was pretty stacked at the top!

Thank you ... Exactly. To clarify, in each of those drafts there was a clear-cut, slam-dunk, franchise changing #1 pick. I don't consider Wall a guy like that

    Me either.

I actually think that's the best thing that could happen to the Nets. Harris is a good PG, and now there will be no pressure to take Wall.
I am sure the Nets would much rather have had a legit shot at landing Lebron and draft Wall than keep Harris and have no shot at Lebron. That is out the window now as he will not be going to NJ.

    WTF are you talking about?

One assumption is wrong because of another assumption?

    Harris/LeBron/Cousins/Lopez>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Wall/LeBron/Lopez

And STILL, it's just an assumption anyways...

Wall will go to Washington, ET to Philly.

I could definitely see Iggy being traded to Cleveland. (remember, the rumors were hot at the trade deadline for these two teams...)

I've been saying that LeBron should move to PG fulltime. His best asset is passing and he could easily average 25/12 as a fulltime PG. And I'm not talking about getting the ball and dribbling at the top of the key, I'm talking about actually running an offense and looking to make the play, which is what hopefully happens when we get a head coach capable of doing so.

A line up with LeBron and Iggy would allow this to happen.

Who in the world does Cleveland have that Philly would want to match his salary that has an expiring contract? The answer is no one, which is why that could never happen at this point.

Not even close to being true.

Philly was looking to unload the contract last season and the Cavs have a few players that are expiring that would do the trick. I know Philly loves Delonte West (contract valued at 4.5mill, but only 500k guaranteed) and you could package him with Mo Williams or a couple of different scenarios.

To say it won;t happen is kind of foolish, especially given the NBA's track record of trades.

Am I saying it'll happen? No, so maybe learn some reading comprehension.. But what I am saying is Cleveland will definitely LOOK into it.

And just as I thought, the trade works salary wise -
    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=257r4m5

Again, not saying it'll happen, but with salary dumps (Delonte with 1 year at 500k guaranteed and Mo with 2 years left) is better on Philly than 4 more years of Iggy's contract, especially if they draft Turner. (and they're getting two very good players)

You also have 3 team trade possibilities among other things. I'm sure the Cavs will look into all options, because regardless of what people say, they DO HAVE options.
