UEFA Champions League Final, 5/22

killdeerwho would have thought that England would not have a representative.....
against all odds, expect Bayern Munich to take control early and win by 2 goals. -
3reppomA student vs. master managing matchup. Student wins, handily.

LMAO.......Bayern by two goals?.........:rolleyes:killdeer wrote: who would have thought that England would not have a representative.....

I hate Inter with a passion but they have the potential to absolutely crush Bayern, especially without Ribery. -

I actually agree with Rock on this one...rock_knutne wrote:

DeyDurkie5Yeah, I hate that I agree with Rock on something...
-
Laley23Bayern arent gonna win by 2 goals.
Ill be rooting for them, but Ill take Inter 2-0 before Bayern winning by 2.
Actual prediction:
Inter - 3
Bayern - 1 (and Im very tempted to say they wont even score) -
rock_knutne^^^^^Being a Juventus fan I would like nothing more than seeing Inter lose but I can't see it happening.
-
Laley23
yeah, I really have nothing against Inter (like a Juve fan would), but for some reason I cant stand them. I didnt like them before, and after the summer transfers (Ibra/Eto'o) I HATE them lol. They fucked Barcelona on that one. I also hate how they run their organization, IE...no Italian players. They bring in way to many foreigners for my liking.rock_knutne wrote: ^^^^^Being a Juventus fan I would like nothing more than seeing Inter lose but I can't see it happening. -
AutomatikI think Inter will roll. Maicon is one of my favorite players so I'm rooting for them over München!
-
Laley23Game Time.
-
Laley23btw, if Eto'o scores he will have scored in 3 CL finals (all 3 he has played in). Has anyone else ever done that??
-
Laley23What a goal by Milito. Great flick header, then makes a great run and rinishes it after a fantastic faint to make the keeper commit!
With the form he and Messi are in, they could rival Spain as the top striking combo at the World Cup. -
hoops23Yes, that goal was a thing of beauty. Inter up 1-0
Had them winning this one 3-0, so we'll see what happens. -
3reppomStill want Bayern to win it, but I just don't see it happening. Though this match hasn't played out like I thought it would at all.
-
AutomatikBoring match until the goal.
-
Laley23Yeah Inter has looked good on all fronts. Defending, counter attacking, and possession attacking. Gonna be tough for Bayern. They will need to get the next goal, which will more than likely have to be against the run of play.
-
devil1197Bayern plays boring soccer imo.
-
AutomatikNice sell of the foul right there.
-
Laley23
In their defence, their offense runs directly through Ribery and Robben on the wings. Ribery is out with suspension, and Inter is basically letting them go to his side to try and take Robben out of the game. It has worked, but it has made Bayern look MUCH more boring than they usually are. But that will happen when you lose your best player who happens to be on of the best in the world as well.devil1197 wrote: Bayern plays boring soccer imo. -
Laley23Diego Milito is goooooooood. Lordy what a move and shot! I cant wait to see what this guy has lined up with Messi for Argentina in South Africa
-
devil1197Milito is having a great game.
-
AutomatikThats what you call gettin' crossed up!
Robben is holding is own, but I agree.....they desperately need Ribery. I honestly thought his appeal would go through....it should have. -
Laley23

Im guessing that if it wasnt a CL final it wouldve gone through. UEFA didnt want to set that precedent. Easier for them in the future if they never overturn stuff.Automatik wrote: Thats what you call gettin' crossed up!

And I agree, Robben looks deadly tonight, but has no help. Ribery plays and this game couldve been really exciting. -
3reppomInter is playing a hell of a match out possessed by 60 to 40 but still absolutely controlling every thing. Julio Cesar has been phenomenal tonight. I am not prepared to say that he is better than Gigi Buffon, but his form this season has been spectacular.
