  Eh not so fast. Not everybody was sucking on the Cavalier dong like you suggest. Some of us know that the NBA regular season is a joke. The majority of teams/players sandbag in the regular season.
  
  What was the one thing everybody said about the Celtics? They were old? Well old age doesn't factor into the NBA playoffs. The breaks between games are ridiculous.

  What a lot of you do that claim to know the NBA regular season is a joke is just to not make a prediction, or say 6 or 7 games or whatever. You're afraid to put your neck out but you aren't afraid to attack someone who is if they're wrong. You're a pussy basically. I saw the Cavs as the better team. Has nothing to do with bias. I bet I watched at least as much NBA basketball as anyone on this site this year. It wasn't just the record. The Celtics looked like they were done. It's no secret that someday, the roster as it is now, will be done. They won't be able to compete anymore, excuse me for thinking that this was that year. Like I said, I was the first to admit I was wrong about the Celtics. It isn't the first time I've been wrong, won't be the last. But don't attack me because you can sit back and have no balls and just watch it play out, then attack me for my prediction being wrong. It's a fucking prediction, I'm not God. And now you want to go the immature way of not being able to have a normal discussion because all you want to do with bring up how I was wrong about the Celtics? Fuck off, if that's the best you've got then I'm sorry for you.

  Please. I make enough predictions on my own. Just because I don't make them on here doesn't mean that I do not make them. From now on anytime I see you make a prediction, I will go out of my way to make one too.
  
  Go back and look at the collapse thread. I made plenty guesses about the future in that thread. After all it was jpake and I who said that Celtics were not done

  SQ- It's not about being wrong. To start the year, I had the Celtics and Lakers going at it. At the end of the season, I had the Cavs and Lakers. So, I was wrong with the series. Nobody is attacking me. Know why? Because I wasn't arrogant about it. I gave them respect all year, just didn't think they'd be the better team. I didn't take jabs at them throughout the year like you did. People are on you because you got cocky and arrogant about it. If you can't see your arrogance in some posts all year long, then you may have fallen off more than I even imagined.

  A lot of people said the Celtics weren't done. A LOT more people said they were toast. I admitted I was wrong about them, I STILL say that you took the thread out of context--but regardless of the message there, I did predict the Cavs to win. They didn't. All I'm sayin' is, can we move on from this? For real. It is absolutely not because I can't take the heat of being called out. It really doesn't bother me, it's just starting to get annoying at this point because I can't even have a normal fucking discussion around here anymore. I've seen hundreds of predictions, some much bolder than mine, end up being false. I don't feel the need to call the person out on it for 2 weeks--it just gets lame and muddies up the site with bullshit.
  
  Let's get back to some normal discussion, because frankly, what's going down lately has been pathetic. I get chastised for starting a thread to defend LeBron and told "it's over, time to move on", yet on every other fucking thread there is a reference to how LeBron isn't the best in the game anymore or how I was wrong about the Celtics. Now when I start a thread it's time to move on? I'm more than willing to move on, but enough with the hypocrisy and BS that covers up the good discussions that I know we're all capable of having.

  Yeah SQ Crazies was just the driver/most outspoken of the obnoxious Cavalier fans. All of them were quick to discount other teams and players, and were just as quick to anoint the Cavs as champs. I got aggravated reading Cavs related threads because any time somebody tried to talk some sense to Cavs fans, the Cavs fans acted like they were idiots. Now we see the truth. That Cavs team was flawed and has been for years.

  AGAIN, the "collapse" I was referring to is a different collapse then you're referring to. Like I said, I don't care if you don't believe me but you may as well stop bringing that up. Yes, maybe it's my fault for no spelling it out enough for you, but when I finally did I was not backtracking. So maybe YOU should admit you're wrong.
  
  I don't need a lecture about being wrong from time to time--like I said, PAY ATTENTION. I was the first to admit I was wrong about the C's.
  
  I won't apologize for being arrogant about my team when they had the best record in the league, the MVP and MANY people picked them to win it all. And lets not pretend as if I spewed the only arrogance on this site. At least I back it up with some actually points, facts and discussion rather than just making blanket statements like most of the people here.

  1. Your thread was laced with arrogance, and the point of your thread was an attempt to point out the Celtics futility, both at the time, and what you thought would happen in the playoffs.
  
  2. You ended up being more wrong than an anorexic at a buffet.
  
  3. You tried to spin the thread to make it seem like you were merely looking out for the Cavaliers health, not point #1, when the following is true of the Cavs/Celts playoff series: no one was hurt, no one played dirty.
  
  
  Maybe if you accepted those 3 things that everyone else seems to know are true instead of being so g-d damn stubborn about it, people wouldn't still be talking about it, and you might have kept the shred of credibility you lost.

  When I originally bumped the thread after their loss, it was merely a joke. Not meant to be taken as seriously as it has become. However when he started getting all butt-hurt and trying to change his story that's when I zeroed in on him. Then after the Cavs won a game he bumped the thread with "LOL" and then that's when I took the gloves off.

  Yeah I mean you and I have had disagreements in the past, but they certainly didn't last any longer than that thread, and I pretty much agree with everything you post including this. He obviously has very thin skin to the point that not only has it destroyed his credibility, but has become extremely humorous.
