hoops23Yeah, JJ started like 70 games for the Cavs and barely even saw action in the playoffs.

JJ is an unknown at this point. I don't think anyone will want Antawn's contract. Mo and Delonte are just role players; you won't get much for either of them.LTrain23 wrote:
It does. Because it has talent. Teams love talent, especially if they have a guy who wants traded or is leaving.Al Bundy wrote: Ferry just said the roster has flexibility. I need some of whatever he has been drinking.
Seriously, there is a market for Mo, Delonte, JJ, Antawn, etc.. -

Not separately, but in a package you most definitely could.Al Bundy wrote:

JJ may be an unknown, but the NBA loves potential, and JJ has potential. He made a big improvement from his rookie year to his sophomore year.
And if nobody wanted Antawns contract, we would have been the only team trying to acquire him. The only reason we even got him was because of Z's 11 million dollar expiring contract. Point blank. Washington wanted to save money.
We also have Sebastians 3 million expiring contract that could be packaged.
So yes, again, we have pieces.
If we're able to get a young talent (Bosh or CP3) we could throw in future draft picks and a package of players. Use our MLE to sign some role players and move from there. -

I love the enthusiasm, but me being a pessimist....I think that is a huge reach.LTrain23 wrote:

hoops23Nothing is a reach in the NBA.
All you need is a team that's desperate, a good package, and a player with budding talent (jj)
NO is financially in trouble, they have a good young PG in the waiting.
Toronto is losing Bosh most likely, and they don't have the "local" attachment or "loyal" card to play with Bosh, so they would have no problems in doing a sign and trade.
If you trade a young PF, it'd be nice to get another one in return (though, JJ isn't the talent Bosh is, he is showing promise of becoming a good one.)
Teams do trades all the time that make you shake your head in the NBA. That's the sole reason to never doubt anything.
Hell, if Dirk tells Dallas he wants to leave, you think they jsut let him walk? The Cavs could offer them Antawn and JJ. They get a young PF in return and another PF who is still capable of scoring 20 a game. Dallas would utilize Jamison in a way Mike couldn't.
Now obviously, that's unlikely, but there are A LOT of scenarios that could play out. -

I hope you are right. I agree there would be some interest in JJ. I'm not sure there would be much interest in Jamison's huge contract. If a team is going to spend money like that, why not sign a free agent instead of signing someone in their mid-30s with a big contract? I think guards like West and Mo are a dime a dozen in the NBA.LTrain23 wrote:
