Will the Cavs win this series against the Celtics?

  • Trueblue23
My prediction- Lebron goes for 50 in Game 6, Cavs blow Celtics out in Game 7.

    Sad to say, but no.
  • wildcats20
    No.

The Cavs will not beat a totally 100% motivated Boston Celtics team who wants to "shock the world" in a close out game IN Boston.

    This series is over.

The way this series has gone, I have no idea what to expect. The way the history of Cleveland has gone, I know exactly what to expect.

It's possible, but highly unlikely with the way LeBron and the Cavs are playing.

You have to actually have a sense of urgency and the Cavs don't..

With that said, the Hawks lost game 5 to the Bucks to go down 3-2 and still came back.. If the Hawks can do it, anybody can..

BUT, I'm not holding out hope.

I wasn't planning on drinking... but I'm 6 beers in since the end of the Cavs game... tomorrow's gonna be a rough morning.

After watching the last couple games, I should probably say that this series is over. I'm not going to though. I'll take the Cavs to win Game 6 and Game 7. The Celtics will be hungry to close out the series, but I think the Cavs will finally respond and put together a great performance in Boston. Then they'll actually defend their home court for a change and win Game 7.

The way this series is going the Cavs will win Game 6 and then get blown out at home in Game 7.

Lebron can score 100 next game! If the Celtics are left wide open all night as they were tonight the Celtics still win by 30.The Cavs are playing pathetic defense.

I would ordinarily lean towards saying yes they would win the series if they can push a game 7, but I think Boston could very easily lose game 6 and come back in and win game 7. Normally a team is finished if they lose game 6 on their home floor when up 3-2, but Boston is a veteran group and very mentally tough.

I lean toward the Cavs pulling this series off, but the idea that if they can just get it back to Cleveland for a game 7 things will be alright is the furthest thing from the truth.

Could def. see this happening.. Celtics get up by a decent margine, LeBron goes out with the elbow "hurting"..

I'd bet my life on that not happening.

But I do think Cleveland is dunzo!

    No.

In a pivotal game 5 at home, their star looked like he didn't give a fuck. They completely crumbled after halftime. Boston shows fortitude. Cleveland looks like a bunch of bitches looking to enjoy their summer while figuring out where they'll be playing next season.

Yeah, I say the Cavs win.

Won't be easy but I think they'll pull it out.

LeBron will take the ball to the basket in Game 6 and that will lead to a big scoring night and free throw opportunities.

It'll be a great ballgame. Cleveland will respond with an inspired effort but Boston is also going to play with desperation to try and close it out. The Cavs will win in the final seconds.

Game 7 will be a party in Cleveland. The crowd will be into the game. A lot of players contributing. Total opposite of Game 5. They'll pull away.

Letting an experienced team like the Celtics hang around like this and giving them a shot doesn't bode well for the Cavs. However this could be the big set up for LeBrons next career making moment. This is the NBA afterall.
  • cbus4life
    I sure hope so.
  • Rotinaj
Nope. If they don't give a shit in yesterdays game I don't see them caring tomorrow.

    +1. This is Cleveland sports.
I can see the Cavs winning Game 6, and then choking in game 7.

After thinking it over this morning, I'm gonna stay optimistic!!! I'm as perplexed as anyone as to why last night happened but I just can't believe this team goes out like that. They have today to get their shit together, which isn't a lot of time but there better be some serious maning up on the plane ride to Boston!!!! GO CAVS!
  • j_crazy
    No,

I think they will lose in 7. What a shame.
