Little DannyThe honest answer is the people in northern Ohio would not be NBA fans, like most of the people who live in the southern half of the state. Places like Columbus, Dayton, Cincinnati, et al. are college basketball towns. I am guessing you guys would follow the Buckeyds/college BB and only watch the NBA when it was time for the playoffs.

So because I live in Columbus, I can't be an NBA fan?Little Danny wrote: The honest answer is the people in northern Ohio would not be NBA fans, like most of the people who live in the southern half of the state. Little DannyNot saying that at all. What I am saying is that the Cavs are not a huge draw in Columbus-- even less in Cincy and Dayton. What's more, the entire NBA is not even a big draw down here. In Columbus it is OSU 100% of the time, then Browns/Bengals, Red/Indians, the Blue Jackets and the Crew. NBA basketball is a blip on the radar.
The honest truth is that if there were no Cleveland Cavs, there is no reason to think people who follow the Cavs in other parts of the staet would be much of the same. -
SQ_CraziesWhoever LeBron plays for.
Or the Heat, because D-Wade is my 2nd favorite player. -

I've lived in Columbus my entire life, there are plenty of Cavs and in general NBA fans here.Little Danny wrote: Not saying that at all. iclfan2I probably wouldn't watch. Don't really like basketball as it is but watch the Cavs because they are from Cleveland and like it enough to watch them. But if there was no team in NE Ohio, and no team in Ohio in general, probably wouldn't watch.

Puddle JumperNot trying to be a ass but I'm sure some will take it that way. Lebron has lived in NE Ohio all his life,so I'm sure he knows that about 80-90% of the people that are claiming to be life long cavs fans are liars. He was too young to remember the glory years of the 80's and the 20 something people that are claiming this probably said the same thing about the Bulls 10-15 yrs ago.Bottomline is most people cheer for winners and Lebron knows it.Hell ,he is the same way since he is a self claimed Yankees and Cowboys fan.
