If you're R.C. Buford, do you break up the Spurs?
-
Trueblue23Seems like the West may look MUCH different next year, with the Mavs, Spurs and Nuggets all seeing their respective windows close.
So would you blow up the Spurs?
I would, nobody on that roster, including Duncan, should be untouchable. -
Lovejoy1984I agree, the Window has shut.
However George Hill, should be untouchable. -
Trueblue23I'd scrap the Mavs, Spurs, Nuggets and Celtics.
-
2quik4ugonna be a lot of shit going on this offseason
-
2quik4uwont matter tho
lakers
title lock 2010-2012 -
Lovejoy1984I agree, however each team, outside of the the Mavericks have at least 1 building block.
Spurs have George Hill
Celtics have Rajon Rondo
Nuggets have Lawson, and Melo
Mavs have No One. -

2quik4uthe 6 are all signed to 2013 counting team and player options

Trueblue23
Do you really think Artest will have ANY value at all after next season? Cause I don't.2quik4u wrote: the 6 are all signed to 2013 counting team and player options
I love that we have Kobe, Odom, Gasol and Bynum locked up for a while, that's our core. Everyone else is expendable in my eyes. -
Lovejoy1984
I agree. Look how quickly KG fell off. Hard to say age and injuries won't catch Kobe next year.Trueblue23 wrote:

I of course agree that Kobe is a far better player than KG ever was.
Lakers should have a good shot next year, but hell I wouldn't call them locks until at least the All Star break next year.
Who's to say the Cavs don't someone land a player like Nowitzki or Bosh to go along with Lebron.
Or the Bulls don't get Wade or another proven scorer.
Or the Thunder get a player like Bosh, or Nowitzki to go with the young core they have. -
Trueblue23Exactly HighRoller.
WAY too many variables to even begin to think about next year.
Besides 2quick, the Lakers are 10 wins from a repeat. Next year isn't on my mind one damn bit. -

That's sad. You could have had a good, basketball related response, but instead you point out something completely pointless and stupid. No wonder everyone calls you a troll.2quik4u wrote:

2quik4ubesides i dont see a team becoming too stacked, a bosh wade team would be a formidable foe, just like if the Thunder got someone big to but I still dont see anyone topping the Lakers.

A team doesn't have to be stacked to win though, they just need the right pieces in the right places.2quik4u wrote: besides i dont see a team becoming too stacked, a bosh wade team would be a formidable foe, just like if the Thunder got someone big to but I still dont see anyone topping the Lakers.
While the NBA could be overhauled this offseason, I doubt it will be. The only big name I think will move is Bosh, and I think he goes to Miami. From everything I've read, it sounds like LA will FINALLY make a conscious effort to upgrade the PG position, which is obviously our biggest need. -

No, you got your own name wrong.2quik4u wrote: naw fuck that people always get my name wrong shit pisses me off
Quik isn't a word, people realize the correct spelling of "quick"... Therefore, you fail at life. -
pmoney25Tim Duncan will always be a spur. He would retire before playing elsewhere I bet. If there is one guy in the league that deserves that right to not be traded/ let go, it is Duncan.
I do think they will be revamped next year. -
NateI would think Dajuan Blair would be somewhat hard to get rid of.
-
tcarrier32if only the spurs could get some of the talent they hold overseas to come to the nba. just one of the frustrations with drafting internationally.
