Cushing appealed the suspension in February and discovered today he had lost his appeal. First game he will miss is against the Colts.

Obviously bad planning or bad advice. Either he thought or someone told him he would be clean and he wasn't.Benny The Jet wrote: Ha yea it caught up with him after making millions as a top 15 draft pick and rookie of the year...how'd they not know?!?! -
RiverRat13You have to lol at all of the USC fans that were "outraged" when Cushing was accused of taking 'roids before last year's draft.
-
Lovejoy1984In other news LeBron is really good at basketball.
And the sky is blue. -

Haha I remember that. Acting like it was a ridiculous claim.RiverRat13 wrote: You have to lol at all of the USC fans that were "outraged" when Cushing was accused of taking 'roids before last year's draft.
Hello! Its not rocket science. You don't just get that big naturally in that short time period. -

Fabioguarantee you that Clay Matthews is next. I remember hearing that he was 165 as a walk on Freshman.
-
Scarlet_BuckeyeCushing was on 'roids his entire career at U$C. This is no surprise.

Are you really trying to say that it isn't natural to go from 165 pounds as a freshman to this as a senior without the help of steroids?:huh:Fabio wrote: guarantee you that Clay Matthews is next. I remember hearing that he was 165 as a walk on Freshman.

Terry_TateI gotta say, I saw this headline on ESPN and my first reaction was a sarcastic "Man, he was the last guy I would have guessed to be on steroids in the NFL." Only Sammy Sosa taking steroids had to be less of a surprise than this.

Going from 165 to 250 is just as suspicious as Cushing going from 185 frosh year to 260 lbs senior year.IggyPride00 wrote:

Trueblue23That's honestly who he has reminded me of since his days at USC. Not just because of his use of roids and his position, but because he was always a meathead dick.

lhslep134I would think that steroids helped, but it's also possible to put on that much muscle in the right body frame.
I weighed 160 in HS, but I have such a wide body frame that without steroids and the help of a top notch weight training system (probably like the ones at USC, Florida, OSU, etc.) I could probably get to 195-200 in muscle without taking steroids.
Cushing and Matthews had the frame to support that kind of muscle growth, it's a shame they took the easy way, because I have no doubt they could have achieved the same muscle without steroids just over a longer period of time. -
stroupsShould they take is ROTY trophy away?
