JaMarcus Russell
-
chs_redskinsWho will sign him? Me being a bengals fan, wouldn't mind having him on my team as a backup to Carson Palmer.
-
wes_mantoothNot sure where he will end up, but he can't be any worse than Jim Sorgi....can he?
-
Little Danny
Nah, even though he played for the Raiders and stole their money as a draft bust, Russell never been alleged to have committed any crimes that I know of. No way the Bengals sign him.chs_redskins wrote: Who will sign him? Me being a bengals fan, wouldn't mind having him on my team as a backup to Carson Palmer. -
mallymal614He is only 24. I guarantee a team will take a shot on him. Not sure which one though.
-
pkebker
you can have him...chs_redskins wrote: Who will sign him? Me being a bengals fan, wouldn't mind having him on my team as a backup to Carson Palmer. -
BaseballThis couldn't have happened to a better owner...ha ha ha ha, lmao

bcubed
What in the hell would the bengals do with him? The only thing he can do is throw the ball 85 yards and they don't have anyone fast enough to catch up to a pass that far!chs_redskins wrote: Who will sign him? OhioStatePride2003Let him beef up and play on the line.
-
jordo212000I would definitely roll the dice on Russell. Low risk, high reward. Give him an incentive laden contract, make him a backup, and coach him up. If he gets "it", great! If not, cut him.
Like others have said before, he's no worse than several other backup QBs around the league. Colt Brennan of the Redskins comes to mind as somebody who will never step foot on a regular season football field. As does Jordan Palmer of the Bengals -
BR1986FBThank god Savage didn't have the ammo to move up and draft this stiff or he would have been Tim Couch Part Deux.
-
Heretic^^
Tim Couch did have moments of competence, so he was a few steps ahead of Russell on the QB evolutionary scale. -

LMAO!! Dude was a pantywaiste and out of the league after leaving Cleveland. -
BR1986FB
Couch did look like he could play QB if he HAD to but he was still a puss. Assholes should have taken McNabb. Russell was just a one year wonder that everyone fell in love with because of his big arm.Heretic wrote: ^^

Gblocktim couch never had a chance....the he got hit every play and hit hard...the d line was beating him back to the 5 step drop

ts1227JaMarcus was arrested today in undercover sting for having a controlled substance, it happened to be the shit to make some purple drank (codeine syrup)
He must have had a ton of it.

justincredibleI've seen a lot of rumors of him being linked to the Jets. He'd come cheap but I'm still not sure I'd want him.

El Jefe Grande"Sippin' on some sizzurp..."
-
darbypitcher22I don't think anyone will touch him, but that's just my opinion. He's already proved to the rest o the league that he's a lazy player who doesn't do what it takes to make it in that league
