Reggie Miller 15 Years Ago Today
-
mallymal614One of the most bizarre finishes in NBA history. I remember this like it was yesterday. It was on a Sunday and I went to church, so I recorded it on my VCR. When I went home to watch it, I told myself the Knicks won this game. I mean come on now only 18 seconds left and down by 6? There is no way the Indiana Pacers can pull this out......right? What happen next, we all should pretty much know.

mallymal614Watching this again, I still can't remember any other time when the Knicks crowd was so STUN! Like is this really happening? lol

thedynasty1998I used to hate Miller as a player, and he was really the first athlete I grew up and watched to cheer against. Looking back at his career now, I think he's one of the most underrated superstars of the game.
And I really enjoy him on TV. -
Midstate01I thought that was just last week,... Oh wait that was just Reggie talking about himself again. Every single game he announces, he talks about himself.

Glory Days

mallymal614lol @ the pic. I can't recall any team that choked like the Knicks did the final 16 seconds.
- Miller hits a 3
- Knicks throws the inbound pass right to Miller and he steps back to hit another 3 to tie the game
- John Starks misses TWO free throws that would have put the Knicks up
- Knicks foul Reggie Miller who was about a 90 percent free throw shooter. He would knock down both.
- Then to top it all off Grey Anthony falls and couldn't even get a shot off in the final seconds.
All this is 16 seconds! Major collapse.
This game would ultimately decide the series as the Pacers won it in 7 games. -
trackandccrunnerWas such an awesome thing I remember watching this and thinking how in the hell did that just happen. I remember the ESPN 30 for 30 about this and the I believe it was the Pacers GM had a funny story about this game.
