no one in the east is beating the magic

Magic are gonna run into trouble when the jumpers arent falling. Jump shooting teams are very dangerous...both to themselves..and to other teams
  • 2quik4u
hopefully it happens in the finals again

you do realize the cavs didnt lose a game in the first 2 rounds of last year playoffs right?
  • 2quik4u
you do realize according to all cav's fans last year doesn't matter

cannot win a championship with Wince on the team.....
  • 2quik4u
they wont, they will lose to LA

The Hawks gave up.. Their body language is TERRIBLE. It was amazing that they were in the game after the 3rd quarter. Josh Smith is trash and I lol'd each time Hubie Brown called his lame ass out.

Looks like the Hawks will be swept again in the second round, and this team will probably be blown up as Joe Johnson likely leaves in FA..

Magic currently up by 14, game 3

ATL is all show and no go during the playoffs.

This is another team that won't ever get it done with the current cast. This is the 2nd straight season they will be swept in the 2nd round.
  • 2quik4u
they are going to lose their best player

Exactly, Johnson is a 2nd tier star that will never be able to carry the load for a team. He'll be a great side kick to whoever lands him but the ATL team needs a true star.
  • 2quik4u
Well how many stars are out their that can carry a team?

Not many, there is a reason why right now you can only name a couple contending teams and those have big stars on them (Kobe/Bron/Howard/Old3).

Teams need a legitimate star to build around to be a championship caliber team.
  • 2quik4u
Thats what im saying tho, I dont see a star going there so i would try to hold onto what I got

Well Johnson is gone without a doubt, so who do you make the "star" of the team. Smith?
  • 2quik4u
smith has a terrible attitude, they might get lucky and sign someone decent, they will have some money to spend
  • KR1245
How much money did Joe Johnson cost himself this series?

    Probably none.

There will be some desperate teams that pay him more than he is probably worth imo. Once they see big stars like Bron/Wade stay.
  • devil1197
This is what happens when a team has completely given up.
  • KR1245
^^^Probably true. I think Johnson would be a great 2nd option. He just doesnt have what it takes to be a number 1.
  • 2quik4u
    magic up 44-35
  • 2quik4u
well it appears the hawks are gonna get swept, magic up 17
