Guess Roy Halladay's final numbers

  • gorocks99
    It's 5/6, here are Halladay's stats after today's game:

    7 GS
    6-1
    48 K's
    1.61 ERA
    7 BB

If he starts every fifth game from here on out, he'll have about 25 more starts to make. What say you?
  • gorocks99
    I'll say:

    21-6
    185 K's
    2.40 ERA
    42 BB
  • karen lotz
    34-1
    297 K's
    1.02 ERA
    13 BB (2 intentional)

    his final numbers...

    1 Cy Young award

Ubaldo Jimenez will be given some strong consideration if he keeps up the tear he is on. He has been nearly unhittable, just ask my Braves.
  • karen lotz
Although the no hitter might lose some luster if the Braves are no hit AGAIN tonight... They are currently hitless through 7 against a Nationals pitcher not named Strasburg.:@
  • Laley23
23-4 (because I said this when he was traded originally)
    2.14 ERA
    212 Ks
    53 BB
    7 CG
    4 SHO
    1 Cy Young
  • Ironman92
    22-6

    238 innings

    2.59 ERA

    199 K

    3 shutouts

    Stoopid Good.

He was dominant and won Cy Youngsin the AL east when you face NY/BOS/Tampa 18 times a year.

Moving him to the NL is almost criminal considering how much easier it is to pitch there without the DL. You typically see pitchers numbers improve when they change leagues like that, and he was scary good in the AL.

This season has 24+ wins and a Cy Young written all over it.
  • mattinctown
    22-5
    2.43 ERA
    202 K's
    44 walks

You know the pitching talent in the NL is deep when Tim Lincecum is 4-0 (should be 6-0, his bullpen blew two saves) and leads the league in strikeouts with an ERA around 1.70, yet arguably would be 3rd in the Cy Young race right now behind Jiminez and Halladay.

    19-7

    2.68 ERA

    246 K's

    1 No Hitter

    Through 5/19 (9 starts):

    6-2
    1.64 ERA
    58 K's
    10 BB

Im waiting to quote myself for the CG and SHO. I think I may be under...and I had 7CG and 4 SHO!!!

But that no-no was a great call.

Through the end of May (11 starts):

    7-3
    1.99 ERA
    70 K's
    12 BB

    1 perfect game

The perfect game helped to balance out his numbers after an atrocious showing vs the Red Sox

His record is gonna take a major nose dive unless the offense gets turned around. Halladay is the best pitcher in the game, but even he can't win every game 1-0. Although as a Braves fan I don't mind seeing them scuffle at all.
  • gorocks99
His record and stats have gone downhill pretty fast, going just 1-3 in his last four starts:

    8-6 (15 starts)
    2.43 ERA
    98 K's
    16 BB

Ubaldo is the best right now. Now, over recent times, Halladay is the best (IE, this year plus the last couple years).

Who would have ever thought this would be the case? I cant believe how bad the Phils offense has become.
