The Denver Nuggets.... SMH

    ^^
    I don't disagree with that. To me, it's telling that during the regular season, they were probably the #2 team in the West while Karl was on the sideline, but fell to #4 after he had to sideline himself (I believe; if wrong, don't crucify me) and without him in the playoffs, looked pretty inferior to a team with injury problems. I think they're a very talented team, but full of individuals. Dantley was above his head keeping things together. Karl would have done so, at least against the Jazz. I don't think he'd be able to keep them together against the Lakers, but he'd get them to that team. Karl's like Andy Reid...a coach that's great until it REALLY gets real...then things fall apart.

    And correct me if I'm wrong, but when he was playing (at least later in his career), didn't Dantley have somewhat of a "high-maintenance" reputation? I have vague, hazy memories of reading that in SI or TSN back when he played. If my memory is correct, he'd probably have the worst personality possible to lead that team.

    Denver sucks, outside of Melo and Billups, pure garbage.

    Said could, not enough of a homer to say they had a good chance.

    Least I dont think i said that

    Another gag job by the Nuggets. Can't say I am surprised.

    They overachieved all year (because I'm with HB, their roster isn't as good as people think it is), but I didn't expect them to lose to the Jazz. I think Karl being out hurt them big time.

    "Pierce=Melo"

    Not sure I agree with that.

    Besides his ring...theyre pretty much the same player

    Melo is much more physical than Pierce, I'd definitely give melo the edge...it is pretty close though.

    Denver hasn't been the only pretender the last decade, so no big deal. Plus, outside of last year, they pretty much foil in Postseason, anyways.

    Having said this, I think people are overvaluing Karl. Yes, I'm very sorry he's ill, but he has always been a decent regular season coach(much like Flippard Saunders), but underachieves this time of year. I'm plenty old enough to remember 1994. It was classic, and the 1st time an 8th seed took out a 1.

    I'm not saying Karl is a great coach, but I don't think you're understanding why people are saying they missed him. If you don't think that had an effect on this series then you're absolutely out of your mind.

    Then I guess I'm out of my mind for the reasons I stated in my last post. I've seen Denver, Karl, and other pretenders do this quite bit in the last 10 years(granted, the classic choke job happened 16 years ago).

    Yeah, you are. You're straight up fucking stupid, basically.

    Unlike the other thread that you and I were back and forth on, I won't waste time trying to explain why.
