Exactly. Who would have thought that after starting 0-1, they could regroup and make a run at a playoff spot!!!fiver wrote: Fuckin' Cleveland. In the playoffs after that horrid start to the season. WTF! -

I'm cheering for all teams equally. To make it this far, everyone is a winner and deserves polite applause for that! Heck, I'm still cheering for Chicago, Miami and Charlotte. Just because they were eliminated takes nothing away from their seasons.wes_mantooth wrote: One quarter at a time in this series.

Exactly. Honestly, they shouldn't keep score...just like in youth YMCA stuff. That way everyone is the winner and everyone gets healthy snacks following the games.Heretic wrote:

And if it's a special day, like someone's birthday, both teams can go to McDonald's together after the game and have a party.wes_mantooth wrote:

Benny The JetFor what it's worth...here is the scenarios for start times on Saturday for game 1 via Cavs Twitter;
"cavs :

That's dumb. There's no need for that long of a break in between games. I know it happens every year and every series, but that's ridiculous. This is why the NBA gets criticized for the length of the playoffs, it spans 3 months and this is why.LTrain23 wrote:

SQ_CraziesTo anyone who criticizes the NBA playoffs, I invite you to STFU and watch baseball.

Just sayin...I love watching sports, and watching the Cavs play. But honestly, do they need a 4 day break? This is a legit question, why do they spread it out so much? Is it so the NBA can get everyone on TV and make more money? Or do they think that more days between and more rest means better competition?SQ_Crazies wrote: To anyone who criticizes the NBA playoffs, I invite you to STFU and watch baseball. -
wes_mantoothI don't like the amount of off days either. I would rather just see them play every other day. I imagine it is has to do with tv and tv ratings.....that is mostly what Stern is worried about.
