    not a big deal IMO. he stands a better chance to see the field in TEN.

    that said a 4.8 40 is hard to overcome (especially with a checkered past).

    I see nothing wrong with that........... As an undrafted FA his main goal is to make a roster and the Titans were a much better fit than the 49ers.

    If you got an offer from a business that said "come try out for 1 spot, but theres 6 other qualified applicants you will be battling for the job" and you got kinda excited about the opportunity and told them you were excited about it..then right before you signed on, a similar company offered you the same position, but you only had to beat out 1 person, wouldnt you take that 2nd job??

    And besides, why should he care about the 49ers impression of him? Hes a Titan.

    Maybe not a good first impression, but all he has to do is impress the Titans. As far as they're concerned, he showed he wants to play there and that's a great first impression. Good career move IMO.

    As an undrafted player, Blount was free to sign with whichever team would have him. He can't be worried about honoring a non-binding agreement when a better situation comes along. His goal is to make an NFL roster and he has a much better shot of doing so in Tennessee. There should be no hard feelings when a player makes a decision based in his self interest. The teams do it before every regular season when they cut guys to get the rosters down to 45. Turnabout is fair play.
    That says it all.

    Just like people have a choice to work at Walmart or McDonalds, Blount has the right to choose which team is best for him. Nothing wrong at all.

    No one is making a big deal out of anything. It's news, it involves sports, and last time I checked - this is what this forum was for. What's the big fuckin' deal? It's something to talk about. ESPN thought it was a big enough deal to put on the front page. Who gives a fuck? If it's a "big deal", don't open the thread.
