Anybody Disappointed in Shaq's play in the playoffs so far?

  • Footwedge
We all know that even the ever so diplomatic LeBron called out his team mate for poor play in the post game interview following the loss in game 3. Was the GOAT wrong in his assesment?

I mean....that was the first time EVER the king has thrown a teammate under the bus publicly like that.

If the GOAT was wrong, tell me why you think so. Also, the king said that JJ needs to play a lot more. Is the king wrong in stating that as well?

Be specific. Back up your claims with statistics that support your agreement or disagreement regarding Shaq and JJ.

I didn't watch any of the postgame shit after game 3, but if LeBron said that Shaq is playing like shit and JJ needs to play more, then he was right on both counts.

LeBron didn't exactly call out Shaq if you look at the entire quote.

He just said "Shaq knows he needs to step up, and I'm that guy who can nudge him to do so.."

If you think we can beat Orlando w/o Shaq, see last year.

Of course, Antawn helps a lot offensively, because Rashard is no longer on PEDS and he isn't shooting so great, plus having to play defense could get to him.

JJ should get some solid minutes too, but Shaq needs to be matched up minute wise with Howard as much as possible. If not only to guard him in single coverage, but also get Howard in foul trouble.

I don't think its lack of effort, so I think LeBron is wrong if he's calling out Shaq for not trying, but if he said he needs to step up (which I guess he did) well then yeah, he's right. But give Shaq a break, he's still knocking some of the rust off from being injured and out for 2 months....I think he'll be in better form when we need him to be. Theres no need to call him out though if thats what actually happened...

Not disappointed because I know the real reason why Shaq was brought to Cleveland and it wasn't to play the Chicago Bulls.

I think we are judging a guy that was off for 2 months and has now played a total of 4 games since the injury...

They are winning, so I am not disappointed in any of them.

I'll be disappointed in Shaq if Howard embarrasses him, and ONLY then.

Yeah, Shaq is a 38 year old 7 footer who missed the last two months and came back in the playoffs..

Give him some time.. He's not the 27 year old Shaq where he could punish anybody and everybody.. He's gotta play the match ups now.

LeBron didn't throw Shaq under the bus, this entire thread/poll is a joke. And you though I made mine to support my decision--my poll asks the question that was supposed to be asked.

omg lebron called one of his teammates out, must be the end of the world. Is this really a big deal? Good for Lebron

NO! You can't be disappointed with Shaq's performance yet. We got Shaq for one reason, and one reason only - TO GUARD DWIGHT HOWARD! Is Dwight Howard on the Chicago Bulls? NO! So chill out people. Shaq's sole purpose is to D up D.Howard.
