Official NFL Draft Discussion

    22. NEW YORK JETS -- I think a few teams in the league had character concerns about Boise cornerback Kyle Wilson, but he was a no-brainer for the New York Jets at 29. I know of at least two teams in the top half of the draft who had Wilson rated ahead of Joe Haden, who went seventh.

Haha hopefully this guy doesn't make it into one of my favorite team's front office any time soon. That's a horrible way of deciding who the better player is

^^^Yeah, but I think Gruden said something similar when comparing players that are very close skill wise.

Dez Bryants #88 jersey is on sale on the Cowboys website apparently.

Jerry must really see alot in him to give him the playmaker's number like that. I think he is going to be a stud, but that is a lot of pressure to put on a kid.

My Broncos TRADED UP to grab Tim Tebow in the first round over Clausen and McCoy!!! I can WAIT to see our wasted 1st round pick guard the water bottle and preach to anyone who comes near it!!!

Yes, the Cowboys are expecting a lot out of Dez. I am too. He's got an Andre Johnson type body. Now I hope he can come close to his production.

Looks like Haynesworth is going to be traded. Hearing it's back to Tennessee.

    second round about to start

this is going to be an intriguing two rounds I think

    a lot of good value

I heard it on the radio yesterday and I can't remember who said it, but a GM or HC said that this years 2nd round is basically like a bonus first round.

with all the mock drafts for three months, by the time you get to the draft there are about 80 players who were mentioned as possible first rounders at some point so the potential is there with a lot of these players

I think from 33 to 80 is a goldmine, teams should try to load up in that area rather than sit back with all those late rounders, but that's my opinion if I were running a team

FYI..............In 40 career starts at Florida, against some pretty good competition, Joe Haden gave up exactly (0) TD passes. Im fine by this selection!

Where'd you hear that? Shanahan just said on ESPN he won't be traded

I wouldn't compare Dez to Andre Johnson, in any way.

    Brian Price is freakin good

    DT from UCLA

the depth at d-line may have hurt him but I know he's a first round talent

It was on the NFL Network earlier. Obviously, Shanahan just refuted that. LOL

Browns will go for McCoy. They will shy away from Clausen.

    good pick by the rams
  • Striker
A lot of people had Saffold going to the Colts in the 1st round. Well, now he's going to the Rams. From 14-2 to 1-15 just like that

    Brandon Ghee if he's there

    CB from Wake Forest
  • SportsAndLady
    Bradford liked that pick.

If you're gonna take a QB with the #1 overall pick, you sure as hell better improve that O-line.
