    Fuck me. OC you suck.

Much like the Cavs, the Lakers didn't play well and took a damn good shot from the Thunder--but they still won.

Exciting game, but the series is still a yawner when it only lasts 4 games..

Like Shaq said, luck is part of the championship equation.

LA looked sluggish. Didn't like the shot from Durant but if it was drawn up it was drawn up. Could have gotten a way better look. It didn't help that he missed it by a mile either.

Some degree of luck is involved in winning a championship. That's why teams generally have such trouble repeating. It's hard to mix all of the talent/chemistry/hunger and a little bit of good fortune together again and again. Part of winning involves getting lucky in regards to things like injury and timing of injuries.

I mean, I can't anticipate the Lakers playing worse than what I just saw in the last 9 minutes of that game. The box score is ugly too. But I would expect them to come out better than that. And they'll have to play worse for the Thunder to even win a game.

Could happen, but I doubt it.

    Seriously?

This series reminds me soo much of the '06 series between the Cavs and Pistons..

Cavs go down 0-2, but had a great 2nd game that gave them confidence.

You can make all the excuses you want for the Lakers, but fact is, OKC has played them tough for two straight games. TWO straight games LA has shot a shit percentage.

LA isn't getting ANY scoring outside of Kobe and Gasol and I could definitely see OKC taking 1, if not both games @ home. I mean, LA will still win the series, but this is far from a yawner.

Stop sucking up to Lakers fans.

Well...this is about the best post I've read on NBA threads all year. 100% on the numbers.

The Cav fans that hang around these boards have bought all the bullshit that last year's team "was weak" and they didn't have the talent to win it all.

No...the correct assessment is that last year's team was the best in the business, but were very unfortunate to get dumped by an inferior Orlando team.

As good as the Cav team is this year..and they are damn good, they played more cohesively during the regular season last year. Last year's team went 10-4 during the playoffs, with 2 of the losses decided on last second events.

I will be stunned if the Lakers make it to the finals. Stunned. Because over the course of the last month, they have not shown the consistancy that they showed last year.

As for the Cavaliers.....they will definitely have their hands full with Orlando. Over the last 3 or 4 weeks of the reg. season, the Magic were much more impressive than the Cavs were.....and I'm not even including the last 4 exhibitiion games.

Cav fans do not show the ability to be fair and objective. They think that the addition of Shaq will automatically put them over the top. As we saw in game 2, Shaq only played in 15 minutes due to foul trouble. And just like during the season, the team performed a lot better with him off the court.

Other than not creating turnovers and protecting the defensive gass, overall the Cavaliers played one of their best games in over a month Sunday.

When you go 10-20 from beyod the arc...shoot 57% from the floor and over 90% from the line, don't bitch about "not playing well". I would say that the Bulls played extremely well.... and fortunately, the Cavs were able to win because of an unbelievable shooting night.

I picked OC to win this series...and I'm sticking with it. OC gave this game away on a sliver platter. Most of the blame goes to Durant, who absolutely choked down the stretch.

    LOL...sucking up...that's a good one.

Anytime we play as poorly as we did defensively, considering we're a defensive minded team, I'm going to say we played like shit. And for playoff standards, if you think the Cavs played well the other night then I'm not sure how you can think we'll be the Celtics let alone win a title. But I'm not shocked, you always seem to want to ignore the fact that we play on two ends of the floor.

And because the Celtics blew out the Heat tonight, you're squirming in your shorts? What a knucklead.

The problem with you is that you over react to every single game. Boston absolutely blows this year. If you don't believe that, then it's your problem.

As for the Cav game, Brownie raved of the performance of his team on the post game show...and rightfully so. and Brownie doesn't always reap high praise for his team...only lays it on thick on special occsasions.

    LOL HOLY SHIT!

You SERIOUSLY (I've told many people this and never meant it this much) need to take reading comprehension courses. Until you do, you aren't even worth having a discussion with. Literally about 99% of the time you read someones post, 4 words stand out and you ignore the rest.

    It's like of someone said:

The Blazers don't really have a shot without Roy, I mean, they won game 1 but they're probably screwed for the rest of the series without their leader.

    You would say:

What, you think just because they won game 1 they're going to win the series?!

    LOL...READ DUMBASS!

    Nailed this one.

With one day in between, OKC could win Game 4 as well.
