Ted Ginn Traded to the 49'ers

queencitybuckeyeMy problem with him is that he's the biggest avoid contact at all costs pussy in the league since Franco Harris.

Well considering he was one of only 2 (I think?) receivers to catch a TD pass on Revis this year, I'd say he's got at least some skill.Hb31187 wrote: If he cant run routes very well, and doesnt have great hands, what makes you think he could be effective in the slot? Where most of the routes are about finding holes in the defense and knowing how to read it. And running precise timing routes. Hes a track athlete playing football. Hes not worth much at all -

Yeah...And its the only TD he has scored on offense going into his 4th year in the NFL. Ginn is very timid on the field. Not a great trait for an NFL player. Bust -
AutomatikI think the word bust gets thrown around wayyy too much concerning NFL players. I didn't really have huge expectations for Ginn after he was drafted anyway. He has produced on the field...but no where close to how much a 9th pick should. Still not a bust IMO.

Hb31187Yeah he ran 1 good route and Revis bit (which he doesnt do often). He must be a good WR bc of that 1 play

the best wr in the game was traded for a 4th rounder so that is not saying muchSportsAndLady wrote: Talk about a bust of a pick!
Top 10 pick traded for a 5th rounder..ouch. -
sleeperGood for Ted Ginn, I don't think he's a bust, but if he was drafted where he was suppose to, like late 1st early second, we wouldn't be having this discussion. No way he should have been drafted #9 overall, sort of the like Heyward-Bey whom the Raiders should have never of picked either.

Actually I think Andre Johnson is still on the Houston Texans, try watching football next time.2quik4u wrote:

Wrong. He's scored 7 TD's on Offense, and 3 Returning.Bluepride13 wrote:lhslep134 wrote:

Not great, but with the QB play he's had since coming into the league, not incredibly bad. He wasn't playing with Peyton Manning. He was playing with:
Chad Pennington
Chad Henne
Trent Green
Cleo Lemon
I'll cut him some slack going to the 49ers, but this is his last chance. He'll have a great HB, TE, and WR around him. Lets see how he does. -

BR1986FBApparently Santonio Holmes isn't the only former OSU receiver with Twitter issues (caution...racist slur)

Puddle JumperThis just shows the Steelers got nothing for Holmes.Ginn isn't half the player that Holmes is and they get traded for the same thing.I mean Ginn lost his job to Hartline, who was never as good as Ginn at OSU.
This is the last dance for Ginn.
