NBA Playoffs First Round #1 Cleveland Cavaliers vs. #8 Chicago Bulls

I understand the confidence the Cavs fans have in their team this year because they are very good, but this Bulls team is very scrappy. I think they will hang with the Cavs just fine and even without Gordon and Salmons, might make things as interesting as they did with the Celtics last year. Rose gained valuable experience last year as a rookie in the Celtics series and I think his progress this season will show as he carries the Bulls and keeps things close with the Cavs. Noah is just.....well he's just Noah - ugly, not athletic looking at all, but the dude makes some plays. Obviously, the supporting cast around Rose, Noah and Deng will be the determining factor. If Hinrich explodes again from beyond the arc like he has done several times this season, things could get very interesting. I'm not saying the Bulls will win, but I think this series will be a little more interesting than some Cavs fans think. I actually think a challenging series would benefit the Cavs more than just torching the Bulls in 4 games - if anything, at least it would serve up a few slices of humble pie for the Cavs fans :)

Great display of forum awareness on your part....Capone has indicated on numerous other threads that he wants to see Ben punished for his actions.

I have no doubt that the Bulls will fight hard but the Cavs should have an answer for them. Cavs have more talent, depth and experience. I dont think it will be a sweep either, Bulls might take a game but this Cavs team is on a mission. Go Cavs!!!!!!!!

I think the Bulls will take game 3. I'd prefer a 5 or 6 game series over a sweep so mikey can get the rotation going again before the second round.

Unfortunately, the majority of the people on this site have no credibility and talk out of their ass more than they do from their mouths.

Let's be honest here, the bulls aren't going to beat the Cavs in a 7 game series, but I do think they are scrappy and can net a few wins. The team I was most worried about drawing was charlotte, but they are firmly in the other half of the bracket.

Also, Derrick Rose is overrated as hell, and if he wasn't a "flashy" PG drafted #1 overall, he'd be on the bench of the Cleveland Cavaliers, and you can take that to the bank.

I can't disagree with you there. Although most browns fans know capone is the king of them all when it comes to cleveland threads.

BTW, LeBron is going to NYK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as the NBA stated that the cap will suddenly be 2-3 million higher than what they thought. The Knicks now have the ability to sign two max stars plus money leftover.
