Game 3: Cardinals @ Reds
-
jordo212000First pitch is at 12:35.
Hopefully the "good" Bronson Arroyo shows up today, not the one who gives up 8 runs in 4 innings. -
thavoiceWhat was last nights attendance? Just curious. Radio made it sound like it was a good crowd. Probably teh good weather had alot to do with it but wonder if the push for "Opening Night" helped at all.
I dont like to and usually dont knock managers because, well, i know many times you manage on a gut feeling and there is always more to a situation than what ya see on the surface.
But to but that one dude in...forget his name....in a tie game..runner on first...no out with the 2 hole and then heart of the lineup.....that is a tough task to ask of a pitcher without experience. I know..if lincoln comes in people bash.
Dusty didnt put him in a good position to be suffessful. -
wildcats20I wish they would put the afternoon games on TV.
-
stroupsInstead of the reds game I get a rerun of last nights blue jackets game............... awesome

stroups

wildcats20Same here.
But I'm pretty sure MLB has something where they can't show them. If I remember from discussions during last year's season. -
daveI don't know what the actual attendance was but it felt like about 25k were actually there.
-
thavoiceyeah...all pertty much are on but the day games.
Prolly too little viewership to even bother. -
Big Red MonsterPretty good game so far.

How did they score? I'm stuck at work and don't have an AM radio.big_hits24 wrote: ^^ Reds w/the lead -
jordo212000Yup, "watching" the gamecast and it said that Bronson Arroyo had the RBI haha. It figures that a pitcher would be the one that had to knock in the runs. Maybe they should put him in RF for Jay Bruce haha; he has looked bad so far (I know this is only the 3rd game but still)
-
stroupsBronson helping himself with the single and the RBI
-
big_hits24The Cards tie the score up at 1 a piece. Matt Holliday hit a HR for the cards. Now heading to the bottom of the 7th
-
stroupsCards tie it up on a Matt Holiday home run to left center
-
big_hits24Going into the bottom of the 8th with the top of the reds lineup batting. Arroyo has pitched a pretty good game. Hopefully cincy can get a run or 2 and bring in Cordero for the save and get out of here with a W
-
mhs95_06Arroyo gets thru the 8th, allowing only one run, and using 108 pitches. We'll see how the top of the Reds order can do against the new pitcher.
-
big_hits24Freakin Rolen popped out to end the inning with Votto at 2nd...Had our chance to take the lead. Guess we'll have to get a walk off from someone.
-
se-alumWalk-Off Jonny Gomes!!!
