Colts @ Ravens

bigdaddy2003Indy enters 9-0
Baltimore enters 5-4
Who wins? -
NateColts. Manning is the man.

Laley23Id go with Colts because I think they are by far the better team. However, they are bound to lose a few games, and this seems appropriate coming after the Pats game and going on the road. But at the same time, Baltimore has a short week to prepare for Manning. So who knows.
Indy's biggest issue is running that ball, although they were reasonably effective vs NE. Their defense was exposed, but has been great virtually all year.
Baltimore has looked great and bad. Their loses were all to good teams, and were close, so Im not saying they are bad. But aside from Ray Rice, I havent been impressed with any part of their offense recently. Their downfield passing attack is pretty bad, and the O-line was eaten alive by the Cleveland Browns. I think their best chance to score is going to be draws/screens with Freeney and Mathis getting upfield too fast.
Their defense is still, well Baltimores defense. They are older and seem to have lost a step, but they still have the playmakers all over the field. Im just not sure anyone can stop Indy/Peyton right now and Im not sure Baltimore will score enough.
Colts 24
Ravens 17 -
bigdaddy2003The D has a lost step but I think they will pull it out against Indy. Indy is obviously a pretty good team but I think they have looked shaky all season. I say:
Ravens 28
Colts 24 -
RiverRat13How have the last two games that the Ravens have played given any evidence that they can beat Indy?
-
Azubuike24How have the last three games Indy has played given any evidence that they will clearly beat Baltimore?
I actually think the Ravens will win. The Colts could be 6-3 right now. -
bigdaddy2003I agree the Ravens haven't played that well in the last 2 games but did anyone think they were going to beat Denver like they did?
-
Puddle JumperAs bad as they were against Cleveland. How can Baltimore stay within 10 pts.
I know they beat Cleveland but they weren't impressive at all. -

I say it's more of what Baltimore has done.Cleveland is terrible and they were very much in the game until the pick 6.The Colts d is better than Cleveland's and Manning should light up the weak raven secondary.Azubuike24 wrote: How have the last three games Indy has played given any evidence that they will clearly beat Baltimore?

bigdaddy2003I guess we shall see. That is why they play the games. I will eat my "raven" if they get walked on but I don't foresee it.

I've enjoyed his play calling of the game..surprising because I usually can't stand announcers.bigdaddy2003 wrote:
